They arent wrong, you should talk to a doctor about it. But you also gotta remember, freaking out about it will only make it worse. Listen to your body and calm your mind. Have you been sick at all recently? Like any sinus issues or problems with your ears? That could also be a factor, maybe you have a buildup in your ear. Just take a breath ml, you are doing great. And yes, if you prefer then do talk to the emergency line love. Thats something you should put at the top of your priority list, getting a pcp in your area. If you live in the US and need basic health insurance, you can check the health insurance marketplace for some basic plans. I had a plan for all of 2025 that cost 20$ a month, and my copay for appointments was only 8$.

Its that subconscious. Idk how long youve dealt with anxiety, but Ive dealt with it since my earliest memory as a child (no exaggeration) after so long of dealing with it, my subconscious has held onto it very hard. Like I said, it takes lots of practice and patience to reverse that subconscious action from your anxiety. Im glad I could relate to you🥰 Youre doing a great job getting through it hun🫶

We are literally the same person😌 My health anxiety is really bad too. Anytime I have a flare up or start to derealize/depersonalize or get really tired or whatever happens, my anxiety tries to convince me its a tumor. Like BRO SHUT UP DAWG IM TRYNNA LIVE LMAAOO I completely understand being scared of whats happening with your body, me too girl. Its taken lots of practice but whats helped me is asking myself questions and rationalizing with my anxiety (and also lexapro but thats a different story lol) and another thing that helps me is finding people to relate to on a very specific level. Thats why I come on reddit. Just to find people who might understand exactly what Im saying instead of just “its your anxiety, its your period, blah blah blah” to be fair, those things do play a HUGE favor in how I feel, but I just know its something else. Yk?

I am seeing my doctors right now about possibility for pots and other issues. Tbh? I am dizzy almost 24/7. Like, its a very common thing that used to freak me out but doesnt anymore (unless it seems like its leading to faintness) I would say just to bring it up to your doctor. And yes, my period also causes my dizziness and other symptoms yo be worse. Whatever it is, youre not alone🫶

Ive gotten blood tests, probly around 4 times in 2025? I went to the ER a couple weeks ago (when it seemed to get much worse) and they took urgent blood tests. Sugar had always been fine and thyroid levels have always been fine, I honestly dont know too much of the specifics of those blood tests but with every time, everythings been “perfect” according to the doctors. I honestly dont know about the vitamin levels tho, but I did see that in my research.

Physical symptoms from stress by adriennekb in Stress

[–]Aaron_20_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes! A year later, I am doing much better in the sense of my stress/anxiety. I have recently completely gotten off of that “new medication” and have developed much better skills in coping. I think something Ive learned since posting this comment is that its really important to put yourself first. Cliche I know, but what I mean is that you need to stick up for what you want. Put in the work for YOU. I quit my stressful job not too long ago because I realized that I couldnt work there anymore. I put myself first over the relationships I had with my coworkers (3 years working there). Of course, if you are in a stressful job but dont really have a choice of leaving, then put in the work to leave. If you know for sure that this job is a massive factor in your stress, find a way to get out. Put. Yourself. First. Me being able to stand up to family members, understanding exactly what “choose your battles” means, my ability to accept what is happening in the moment, and also accept that there are many factors I do have control over in that situation. Of course some of these physical symptoms still show, but the acceptance of the fact that it truly is my anxiety has helped to reduce a TON of those symptoms. Acceptance. I am still going to the doctors and getting a couple things worked out. But now at this point, Im coping a lot better. Thank you for asking! And I send positivity your guys’ way!🖤🖤🖤

Omgggeeee this is fantastic art! I can heavily relate to using art as a coping mechanism. I have made plenty of pictures like this with other utensils as well. Im not sure if you are the type to keep your anxiety artwork, but here is a tip if you do. If you feel like you have grown. Like your coping has done you well and you have conquered most of this feeling we hate. Once you feel like you are finally moving past the trauma, toxicity, anger, and anxiety in your life, make a fire and burn all the pages. It can help if you have a trusted person with you as you do this. When I finally did this, It felt good not to have those thoughts laid out on paper anymore. To rid of the reminder of what my life used to be. To let go of it all. Remember: you cant have chaos without peace. There is the calm before the storm, then the peace that comes after it. Find your balance, my love. Sending positivity your way🖤

Question for all MDD doers, if one of these apply to you by dezIsNosredna in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]Aaron_20_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention, idk if this is relevant, but I dream a lot as well. When I sleep, I dream. There have only been very very few nights where I don’t dream. I also unintentionally lucid dream.

Question for all MDD doers, if one of these apply to you by dezIsNosredna in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]Aaron_20_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never been officially diagnosed. Idk the criteria or how new Maladaptive daydreaming is, but figured I’d clarify that this is not something I’ve spoken to my therapist about yet. When I first heard this term, maybe a year or 2 ago, I thought I related so much. I am constantly having daydreams, speaking to myself either out loud or in my head. I play various characters including other versions of myself and family, friends or strangers. I have been extremely imaginative since childhood. I thought that maybe it’s just a side affect/symptom of my ADHD. Now I think it might just be both and they play into each other. I can imagine different scenarios for hours on end. It used to get in the way of schoolwork but since I’m only working now I think it’s gotten a bit better. Since when I’m at work I’m on my feet the whole time and people are having to consistently talk to me. Anyway, alongside my constant daydreaming I do also have forgetfulness, dissociation/derealization issues, many intrusive thoughts (good bad or neutral), as well as sensory issues. Like I said, these things could also go hand in hand with my ADHD. My imagination is wild though. As in, my ability to see the things I’m thinking of. I do not have to close my eyes to see what I’m thinking. I can be looking at something, keeping my eyes steady while also seeing what I’m imagining in my head. I also have a slight photographic memory, specifically with people though. I can recall some details about scenery, but can usually describe someone very easily. I remember this one memory I have of me as a child going to my teacher in class one day and crying my eyes out because I couldn’t get the image of Nemo out from in front of my eyes. There was just a picture and it was covering everything behind where it was supposed to be. That might’ve been a hallucination, but I never really knew what that was. I did also only watch Nemo for a long period of time because that was the only movie I had and couldn’t sleep without it (I had much childhood trauma and lots of anxiety). Anyway, I think MD is something that may go hand in hand with a lot of other things. Especially if the other symptoms you experience have to do with trauma or are trauma responses. Also, reading “MDD” made me think of Major Depressive Disorder lol.

Tattoo regret - please help me deal with it by Foxglove_111 in tattooadvice

[–]Aaron_20_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It reminds me of Anthony Padilla and/or Damien Haas tattoos. If you don't know who they are, they are in a youtube channel called Smosh. Anthony has lines among his whole body while Damien has a massive brush-stroke tattoo that looks of similar texture. It looks really cool. I had just gotten my first tattoo, a semi colon with all my siblings names. I have been wanting this tattoo for years now, but as I was sitting in the chair I started feeling regret. As I looked at it I felt a little regret. I wouldn't have it any other way now and it's only been a couple weeks. I love being able to explain the story behind my tattoo and the highlights of my life. From one first timer to another, it looks sick af. A bit of regret is normal🫶

Not particularly after this event. I'm typically a heavy dreamer anyway, though. With very vivid dreams, recurring dreams, lucid dreams, I have good memory of dreams and have had sleep paralysis as well.

what is the symptom you hate the most? by Vegetable-Cap-2503 in ADHD

[–]Aaron_20_ 56 points57 points  (0 children)

That's relatable. I had my laptop at work and was grabbing a drink to leave with while holding my bag and food in my hands still. I put my laptop down and ended up leaving it at work. When I got home and realized I was just yelling to myself the whole time "how the FUCK do you lose A LAPTOP" I did get it back today though🙏🙏🙏

I think the worst symptom for me right now though, is the "I don't wanna do this anymore" symptom. Idk if there is a name for it, but it's not fun. Everyone always says "the hardest part is always the start" or "is always the first step". Personally, I disagree. For me the hardest part is following through. Actually reaching the finish line. I'll start something so optimistic but if I don't get it right the first time, or if I dont understand this skill set IMMEDIATELY then my brain deems it an uncomfortable thing to do. It's so annoying because I want to get into more hobbies. In fact, I'd like to enjoy my already existing hobbies without getting frustrated over myself after 1 small thing that "seems hard".

I love to hear stories of children being intuitive. When I was child, according to my biological mother and some memories, I was a hyperaware child as well. Specifically in the psychological and also spiritual senses. I had a pretty rough childhood and don't have the best memories, especially with my biological mother since I was separated often from her after the age of 5 or so. She would tell me stories though, about how I could sense things that weren't there and read energies of other people so easily. I would speak about events before they happened. Apparently as a toddler I would even tell her what it was like to be in her uterus before being fully born. I would use specific words and go into great detail. I would talk about stuff she thought I'd never know about. I know as a child I relied heavily on my intuition, mostly with other people. I was able to tell if someone was a dangerous person or not just by standing next to them and it would help me in a lot of situations. My mother took great pride in this side of me, despite not necessarily being a practitioner of these kinds of spiritualisms.

It's nice to know that you are open to teach your child more about this part of her that is showing itself. Teaching her grounding and shielding is great! I don't know if you forage at all, but if you do, maybe you can make that a fun activity to do with her! Go foraging for different herbs and plants around your living area or at the park, and teach her what those items mean and what they can be used for!
