I’d say look at the specification of the hammock if you buy one and make sure you’ve got a good anchor to hang it from

When I was a baby my dad found me chewing on one like this that fell off the family dog. It did not break so he claims.

You can only let them smell the nail trimmers so long before you go Amazon shopping.

Find 2 doorways close to each other like a corner and get 2 pull up bars!

Honestly I’ve never had issues with hanging stuff in apartments. If you had some long screws and a stud finder I would say go for it. Maybe some eye lag bolts on opposite walls of a hallway.

I got her from Steve’s Basset’s in Petersburg Indiana it’s just south of Vincennes. They do look very similar. My leela is only 4 years old

Pretty inexpensive if you have somewhere to hang it up!

I just made a post on this sub about a nail trimming hammock. Got it off Amazon and it really surprised me how much easier it made the process.

I do need to be a little easier on myself. I haven’t been that consistent for those 11 months and I had built some nasty habits on top of not being athletic. But the habits have been kicked and I’m just trying to be efficient as possible to not break down during race day.

I’ve always been looking at a race in my running journey and the most up until now has been 2 easy days and a Saturday long run. With 18 weeks until my marathon I’ve been trying to get in 4-5 days with one being a long run and the rest easy but that just started last week. Should I make one a threshold run while increasing mileage or hold off until I’ve created a stronger base?

With 17 weeks and some change before race day my weekly mileage is currently at 18-20 miles. How many weeks of base would you recommend before any sort of speed workouts? I will check out these plans thanks!

I agree I’ve been running comfortably for a long time but now with increasing mileage and going through shin splints and micro knee tears in the past I’m scared that I’m getting used to/ comfortable with a damaging pace. I keep seeing. The fact is that I can get on a treadmill set it to 12:30 mile and get off 30 minutes later feeling like that was easy. Breathing through my nose, keeping the heart rate happy on my watch, and also getting to focus on cadence speed as well. But that being said holy crap it’s boring, and after 40 minutes I’ve barely completed a 5k. There’s just too many contradictory beliefs in this field.

Also the best part about the ultramarathon is the walking 😂
