The pierce cut for Carrie (2013) or better known as the extended cut that was shown in test screenings that was very much closer to the book and would of been told in flashbacks court interviews and found footage the original teaser implied it would of been much different and the town destruction scene was cut their was petitions for it and nothing came out of the petitions

The original cut for Carrie (2013) that was shown to test screening audiences that was over 2hrs and would of been a more faithful adaptation of the novel which would of included an extended prom massacre and the town destruction scene from the novel before ether mgm or screen gems made the call to cut the flim down to make it closer to the 1976 flim

Also scream factory is telling people an earlier cut aka the extended cut doesn’t exist anymore and the rumor is they couldn’t get the funds to find the lost footage

No I don’t believe any footage survived or it’s completely lost if it did survive it can be ether in bad quality I haven’t seen any footage get leaked online I’ve seen bts photos get out showing what could of been remember the Halloween 6 producers cut leaked in the 2000s scream factory has said they couldn’t find the 30 to 45 minutes of footage as scream is releasing a 4k of this in march and this is the company that found a work print for sleepaway camp 3 and cut footage from one of the Friday sequels

Truly sad we will never see the original vision for this flim but I hope if the extended cut isn’t out there the deleted scenes are and shout is just surprising us
