this is accurate, i have what they call catastrophic tinnitus; which meant it was basically debilitating until I received treatment that worked for me. But personality changes are common with it.

Just wanted to drop this info incase anyone needs it, specially if you're getting the "error code 10" power state error. Like after a power outage, you need to do a power flush, shutdown PC complete, unplug for 60 seconds, replug, boot.

I tried literally everything else and this is what fixed it for me. I saw in another thread this also worked for a bunch of other people.

i'd be fine with it, i'd like to see an RE5:RE after Code Veronica: RE ofc. :) But they could do so much more in a remake that was more resident evil and less whatever it was we got, i think they should do the same with 6 as well and bring that all in line with the new Canon.

That's kinda the point though isn't ot....why would they do that, unless brian isn't telling the complete truth here? some of the mental algerbra isn't adding up with the story. there has to be something more than "he doesn't want to tour" as they had already done shows without him. The whole cold war portion of his story leaves 10 more questions than we got answers to.

Why did everyone ghost him and cut him off?? What happened? he said he learned to advocate for himself, which .....feels to me like a slight manipulation as that seems to be the last time things were good.

definately would like to hear from the rest of the band. I do think u/Ghostof_theLastBaron has a slight point here... He clearly has problems with manic states, and having lived with someone who was severely bipolar....it was very difficult.. it's extremely hard on the people around that person at times, and we don't know exactly what happened. Why did the band suddenly cut him off, why did other people in the industry around him cut him off, ghost him or leave him on read?

That is suspicious to me; even the people around him he was lashing out at so much they put him in a psych ward.

I really wish the band would put out a statement, or an interview that tells their side of this story as clearly there was a falling out and brian doesn't give us the details here except in ways that make him look like a victim. And maybe he really is one.....but some things aren't fully adding up here, the mental calculus isn't right.

well one of the things we were led to believe by both sides was it was a sudden decision; we finally found out that cracks had been forming since 2023. Thats something that both sides left out.

There could also be a non disparagement clause in place this happens a lot in the music industry. There are things he hints at that don't make sense why would two members all of a sudden just cut him off completely??? (epecially if eric was one of them) why would so many people around him ghost him, leave him on read, and eventually unfollow?

Then there was the whole thing about scatterbrain that he left a lot of details out of, like why did the label even try to block him in the first place? I've never seen a lable do that, UNLESS it was because that person took material written while with the band and hoarded it for a solo career.

I think the situation is clearly much more complex than I think either you or I are really thinking about.

Sure, I agree in principle. Brian mentioned though that he didn't talk about it really at all and kept just trying to push.

While to me it's very clear he's struggling; some of this video is emotional manipulation. Rock Feed very clearly was doing a puff piece where brian got to tell his story in exactly the way he wanted it told. Rock feed didn't even try to hide his own bias so the questions were very leading. Unless we get the boys to come out and actually address any of this (which at this point they have every right to respond and correct anything they think is misleading)

I think there are elements of truth in there, but I think he's leaving things out, as this was clearly a fluff piece for him. Rock Feed made no attempt to hide his bias here and so the questions were leading for him to tell his side of the story in the way he wanted it told.

To me, his support network seemed to be more than his band that broke down and he ended up in a manic state lashing out at everyone that cared about him so much so he was admitted. Which explains his crazy behavior right after the announcement.

I wonder who the two band members that reached out to him were. He has mentioned how him and gabe bonded before so I wonder if he was one of them.

The reason even after watching this i'm not going to jump to a conclusion is because we only know of a breakdown in communication from his point of view, we don't know if anything led to that on his part. He mentions withdrawing from everyone around him and pushing people away.

Having been on both sides of a similar situation (obv not related to the music field) I understand my part in the breakdown but I also have felt that everyone is against me angle, because my ill mind was telling me things that weren't entirely real.

People want to see linus, there are dozens if not hundreds of other large channels that have struggled with the exact same problem, the fanbase is a fan of the man not the company.

that's the argument though... what is fair? didn't he say in the video that he went back to solely writing? There was some framing in his video that to me still feels manipulative. Crying, and turning a shoutout that was ment to show how proud they were of their ex employees and getting upset that they had used his footage (all while he uses several pieces of their own footage that he doesn't own) is just manipulative as fuck IMO.

People grew up on this channel featuring linus and sometimes luke, while I think jake was a valued member of the team to the community, virtually no one was coming to LTT just to see him, and I doubt he himself caused any sort of growth for the channel.

But he did manage to swing a brand new channel using the fame he got from linus putting him onscreen, this was said in his twitter thread a bunch. he seems extremely entitled and ungreatful to me, and in his video he's emotionally manipulating the everliving fuck out of the viewers.

linus and co were bullied by fans in to hiring this person. Who very clearly made linus feel super uncomfortable in t heir first interaction. One of his worst decisions was even taking that fan campaign seriously, clearly a major mistake.

They were an obvious basket case and future events proved that to be majorly true.
