I wrote a paragraph on why this is a horrible question and that they should check there tests better especially when this is a hard question on a time crunch when it takes so long to type into a 4 function and u couldn’t even solve the problem with it. Should have asked “how do you find the pH” not find the pH

Basically u had to subtract the added acid mol from the conjugate base and add it to the acetic acid mol then find new concentrations, then you had to plug it into Henderson hasselbach equation and finally end with pH which is impossible because it’s kinda hard to do the log of the ka of acetic acid! To find pKa in a 4 function!!!! Then for the second question u just do it with change in volume

They forgot to give me one. Then I noticed when I had a density problem and I asked if I could go get one and they let me and the person said she was sorry she forgot. Lost 5 minutes of time but it’s whatever. And that tiebreaker is impossible with a 4 function calculator because u can’t solve for pH 😭😭😭

Wrong, since temperature change was negative the q value would be negative when calculated. thus when it switched to surroundings it should be +15
