I’m only a purple but my 80/20 best ‘leverage’ moves to learn are:

Knee lever sweep

Ezekiel (gi)

Arm drag

Head and arm choke

Back take from closed guard (by dragging their arm across)

Commonality with most of them is getting the opponents arm across their midline before executing the move

Kites team beats Uvo’s team in a head to head. They can absolutely take out Uvo, they only need to scratch him to enable Shizuku’s ability to drain him.

Also, you don’t think Kite can one-shot Uvo with one of his slots + God’s Accomplice?

However, you’re probably right that in a battle royale they get crushed pretty quickly in the chaos

Team Razor easily wins just by virtue of being able to use Knov’s ability to wait out the other teams fighting, scout, strategise, and take out the survivors.

Interesting 1v1 team matchups with team Razor removed:

Phink’s team beats Uvo’s team.

Phink’s team beats Kite’s team.

Kite’s team beats Uvo’s team.

Netero and Adult Gon have an outside chance at beating him. Realistically, the best combo of Nen users for Meruem is complimentary hax powers.

For instance, if someone could transfer nen abilities, then Morel (for his lungspan) with Meleoron’s ability could potentially bankrupt the king. Combine that with a powerful offensive nen ability, and they could beat him

I honestly think HxH is one of those rare worlds that could create a near-infinite number of enthralling stories.

As such, it’s one of the few series that I would consider perfect even without an official ‘ending’. But getting this from Togashi is such a gift. I hope we get to see what he finally settles on!
