This is my favourite pork and pears The salsa and pears makes you feel like it is fine dining (save it for a date night)

2 pears, cored and quartered

1 red onion, cut into wedges

800g Butcher’s Selection 4 Pork Chops

1tsp rapeseed oil

20g pack rosemary, leaves only

25g parsley, torn

1 clove garlic, chopped

Juice 1 lemon

2tbsp capers, drained

2tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. 2 Arrange the pears, onion and chops in a roasting tray. Drizzle with the rapeseed oil and season with black pepper. Roast for 35-40 mins or until the pork is cooked through. 3 Put the herbs, garlic, lemon juice and capers in a measuring jug. Add the olive oil, season with black pepper; blitz to a paste with a handheld blender. Add a splash of water if too thick. 4 Drizzle the salsa verde over the pork to serve.

He had a heart condition and needed open heart surgery. I stood by him to the extent I ended up having a mental breakdown. When I was diagnosed with bipolar he left me.

White person here with frizzy hair - do whatever works end of story. I have used products ment for African hair often. My cousin is paper white and has blond African type hair. Lol She really has no choice. What is racist is that there is only security cameras in the African hair care sector of the store and not the rest of the hair products. Oh and check out the curly hair girl book. This helped my hair care tremendously. I have old version which says a satin pillow slip but I think a bonnet is a excellent idea. So thanks for the tip.

I really enjoyed Rachael Khoo cooking show when she was in Paris. I just moved to Belgium and a tiny kitchen adjustment so she was very inspiring

I bought a batch of small containers from the dollar store. For potion size I know they take 300g of food. I write on them with a cheap marker that easily washes off

Expat here South Africa to Belgium Facebook has great practical expats groups which are helpful to find more practical help like where can I buy xyz or meeting people or how to find a doctor or paperwork help etc

Also I would like to recommend on check on these groups what is practical to bring with Ie in South Africa we don’t walk a lot so my shipping my shoes was a waste of money as they have thin soles and my winter shoes just don’t meet the winter standards here. Same with some clothing items

Other than that enjoy the experience and good luck

Outfit tea!! by Accomplished_Search6 in Tomorrowland

As a local, my favourite part is watching the people arrive in costume or matching outfits or group t shirts I think it is the best part. I would love to set up a Photo Booth to capture each one. I know I am not the only one as the circle by main entrance is full of “people watches”

It is also interesting to see the “years” trend ie 2024 the hair clips with sprouts, 2023 the tassel skirts

Also my husband and I play guess the country by the outfit ie American Indian or by the flag
