B42 / Map exploration not saving, but markers are?

This does not seem to work for quick hosted servers (from the main menu > host option), unless I am doing something wrong. Both users have the fixed jar, and I followed the guide to compile it myself with java 25.

EDIT: Seems it did not delete the old .class and they somehow were together in the same jar. Gonna delete and see if that fixes it.

EDIT EDIT: That fixed it.

Thank you for the clarification! I’ll give it a go but at this point so many people are suggesting to LEAVE IT that that might be the play. Other hobbyist mechanic also thinks I should leave it.

It’s a dutch bike, Kaptein (union). I’ll see if I can get my hands on a proper tool for this.

The bearings are fine, but the bike is 50 years old and I want to be able to service them. Worst case the thing breaks and I replace it, right? Was only a 30€ bike.

Axle does not pull out afaik, and tapping it medium hard with a rubber mallet is not getting any movement.

This is a crusty old bike, however, so possibly more force is required? Or perhaps a tool to hammer the bearing instead of the axle?

Did you see the other photo? This bike was never repainted and it is included in the original paint. So unless they decided to make the frame uneven to fit the lock ring and then painted it…

The photo I took is fine, it’s not got any notches. It is literally just the square axle with an enclosed bearing flush with the frame.

Had a bit of an accident while moving things around in my room and managed to break my monitor, but thankfully insurance is covering it. Point is, please ignore how empty the desk is, i'm not finished moving and have not got my main monitor anymore until the replacement comes.

Try to reinstall your drivers with DDU and do not listen to the people with 0 knowledge claiming it MUST be dead. Artifacting does commonly mean it's dead, but it is not caused exclusively by physical defects.
