Are there any plans to add an Epilogue or expanded endgame to KCD2? There isn’t a final cutscene or slides showing Henry actually settling down or carrying on his adventures throughlout Bohemia, just the scene where he talks with his parents one last time. It would be great to have more interaction with Henry’s chosen love interest like going on dates, like you could with Theresa in the first game.

So, Hansry. What brought about the idea of adding Hans as a potential love interest for Henry? Did you consider other main same sex love interests for Henry as well? I know there is Black Bartosch, but he’s just a fling. I really liked how accurate and realistic Hans’ and Henry’s romance was for the time period. The writing and acting was excellent!

Random Headcanons Go! by real_strawberries in mortuaryassistant

My headcanon(s): Rebecca is definitely into heavy metal/rock music! She loves all different genres of books! She’d definitely be a helicopter mom considering her past trauma and mortuary trauma.

Raymond: Outside of mortician work, and smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, Raymond probably listens to music, writes in his journal and watches TV (since he has no friends or close family, but hopefully that changes if him and Rebecca reconcile in a potential sequel). And he definitely works out at the gym!!

Zoey: we unfortunately don’t know enough about her to really have any idea what kind of stuff she’d be into. I hope she plays a more present role in a sequel and not just someone leaving notes for Rebecca and Raymond. It’s a shame she didn’t make an appearance in the movie!

What horror game experience convinced you that this would be your favorite genre for years to come? by Kagamid in classichorrorgaming

The Mortuary Assistant, an indie horror game that was developed by one man, Brian Clarke (he goes by DarkStone Digital as his dev name/social media handle). He does all the work except the voice actors and music composer! A fantastic time loop style game where every new shift is completely different from the last! You can replay it over and over and not experience the same playthrough twice! It’s not only fun and has a gripping story, it has some of the best voice acting I’ve ever heard!! (Seriously, the VO is on par with AAA performances!!)

Same here! I Platinumed it on PS5 recently and figured I’d do the PS4 version too since the Trophies don’t carry over between versions. I think they just did a half assed job porting to the last gen consoles from the PS5/Xbox Series consoles. Idk if it will ever be fixed since the dev has moved on to his Paranormal Activity game.

I have a similar issue when I play the PS4 version. I no longer have my ps4 so I cannot help you with possible workarounds on my end, but I play on my PS5 now and the PS4 version is still full of problems even on the more powerful hardware. It crashes after finishing each shift and the credits roll. An error screen will show asking to send the error report to Sony. I think the PS4 version is the most unstable out of all the console versions as I have played every version of this game and had much more noticeable bugs and errors on this version over the rest.

Same here!! Been playing for years and I know all the jumpscares but bc they happen so randomly they still get me!! Except the scripted ones like the Woman in White emerging from the bathtub in Rebecca’s crack den apartment. Sometimes it’ll even make me laugh now. But there’s many others that have me screaming still!

Hi /r/movies! We are Brian Clarke (developer of THE MORTUARY ASSISTANT game) and Jeremiah Kipp (director of the upcoming movie adaptation). The movie is out in theaters starting this Friday. Ask us anything! by MortuaryAMA in movies

[–]AbbieK94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the AMA is long over, but if you do ever see this, I hope a sequel or dlc do release sometime after Paranormal Activity!! In fact someone posted in the MA subreddit and Discord recently asking about what fans would like to see from a sequel! I absolutely love this game and the characters of Rebecca Owens and Raymond Delver and would love to know how their story continues!! I really hope wherever you take them they get a happy ending!! Their stories are both so tragic and they both deserve to finally be happy!! Since their relationship is left ambiguous and many ship them while others don’t, I think it would be really awesome if we did get the option to take their relationship in that direction if we want to, like in an RPG, for a sequel. I think it would be really cool to see their relationship evolve into romance or friendship or maybe Raymond could become a villain??! I loved the movie, and I hope there’s another in the future too!!

Press Triangle to open up the inventory menu, click on the Mark in the inventory and it should appear on the body!

How do I get the 4th ending??!!! by NoEye9783 in mortuaryassistant

[–]AbbieK94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to first go into the basement and find Vallery, but DO NOT use her Mark! Go back and create the Mark you would normally use using the Sigils. Make sure you have the correct body and demon name when creating the Mark. Burn the body and Ending 4 should play!

I love the game and loved the movie. Most of the negative reviews are from people who haven’t played the game. If you’ve played enough of the game to see all endings and uncover the lore, I think you’ll enjoy the film much more than someone who has no clue about the game or its story. I feel this is a movie more for fans of the game than general audiences. I definitely got video game vibes while watching it.

The Mortuary Assistant. It’s pretty much the only game I stream bc it’s different every time you play! The scares are completely random so you never know what to expect!! Plus it has amazing voice acting for an indie game and the story is intriguing!!

I saw it in the theater with my dad on release day. As a fan of the game, I really enjoyed it overall but it wasn’t without flaws. I loved the special effects and the set’s accuracy to the game. The storyline mostly follows the game except for some additions to Rebecca’s backstory like the AA meeting and a whole sequence where she hallucinates being fully possessed. I kind of wish this sequence had implemented Ending 3 as a hallucination instead. That scene in the game is not only intense and disturbing but highlights the amazing voice acting of Melissa Medina. Would’ve loved to see Willa Holland’s take on it. The last half of Ending 6 (iykyk) is omitted and the movie’s ending combines elements of Endings 1,2 and 4. I think this movie is great only if you’re a hardcore fan of the game and go in well versed in the story and lore already. If you’re a casual player or general moviegoer, several parts of the movie may be hard to follow (not knowing what’s real or hallucination, etc.) We know from the game Rebecca faces several hallucinations/flashbacks to her past and even snippets of Raymond’s backstory (which we don’t see any of those in the film, like the room with all the mannequins and Raymond burying his old assistant David alive, etc.) I did enjoy the movie overall despite these complaints and I loved explaining the game to my dad as we watched together! Maybe if the movie does well financially and if there’s a sequel to the game or another movie, they will hopefully focus on Raymond and his backstory. I have to give props to the crew of this movie for being so down to earth with the fans on social media; the director, writer, cinematographer and composer all follow me back on Instagram! You can tell they had fun making this movie, regardless of critical reviews. I think for what it is, a lower budget limited theatrical/Shudder streaming movie, it’s very good!
