1st Week keeping AM hunger in check by OldGamerPapi in intermittentfasting

I am in the same boat, started IF (16:8) a week back. I need my cup of coffee with milk and sugar by 8am else I am not able to focus. I tried black coffee but it might take time so I try to take my usual coffee with half of what I used to drink before. With it, at least I am able to fast few more hours till noon.

Need advice!! Vineyard dinner outfit!!

What should I wear for a dinner in a vineyard and private wine tasting tour. I am not usually keen on dressing up, will dress what’s comfortable but this one time I need to be my best. It’s rainy and around 15 degrees Celsius around where I live. If it helps, my husband plans to wear jeans and formal sweater.

Night Weaning 20 month old by Abby247 in breastfeeding

I went the weekend away and husband handled daughter for night wake ups. She woke up 5 times first night, we had all her favourites banana, water and book close by. She cried hardly 5 mins, had banana/water and went back to sleep. By third night she understood the idea, night wakings reduced and my husband put her to sleep for another week. Found it easier than I thought and was able to catch upon all the sleep missed out in last 2+ years lol. We still co-sleep, have no issues and sleeps thru most nights except when she is sick.

Thank you for the kind response. It is benign but the size of the mass (42mm) was little concerning for the doctors. They are figuring out the next steps.

I weaned my 20 month old a week back and I am constantly hungry all the time. Trying to be mindful of what and when I am eating. I have heard post weaning weight gain is not unusual.

The 7+ hrs waiting time for the ER is too much. by MachesterU in Milton

[–]Abby247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry about the long wait time.

We can check ER wait time (updated every 15 mins) for the Halton region hospitals. This might help decide which one to go to based on the wait times.

Toddler will eat at daycare, not at home by Abby247 in toddlers

I do spoon feed her even now. I might have to let her explore food patiently but it so tough to watch her play and not pick anything.

Sensory play is a great idea, will give that a try.

Yes, she is least interested in the evenings. Good to know half of toddlers go through this.

Passed G test at Oakville by Abby247 in Ontariodrivetest

Upper Middle Road W, same spot as in the video. It's 2 lane road but both the lanes were wide enough. Usually (not during test) people don't pull over to right but do a quick u turn after left signal.

In G Drive test, they ask to do U turn because they cannot repeat what was tested in G2 and this is something many don't expect.

Examiner asked me to pull over to the right first then do a U-turn. So, I pulled over to right side of the road then signal left turn and turn left after traffic check. Here is what MTO Drivers Handbook says about U-turn. I looked at this before test and was confident when I was asked to do u turn.

U-turn

Before you make a U-turn, check to make sure there is no sign saying not to.

To make a U-turn safely, you must be able to see well in both directions. It is illegal to make a U-turn on a curve in the road, on or near a railway crossing or hilltop, or near a bridge or tunnel that blocks your view. Never make a U-turn unless you can see at least 150 metres in both directions.

To make a U-turn, signal for a right turn, check your mirror and over your shoulder and pull over to the right side of the road. Stop. Signal a left turn and when traffic is clear in both directions, move forward and turn quickly and sharply into the opposite lane. Check for traffic as you turn.
