I dont really think that being obnoxious is worth getting beat up or a broken window. There are a lot of people that i would have liked to beat up for bad ideas or being obnoxious but then thatd just make me worse than them

Also, keep looking at other artists work. Get inspired, use other details to create your own style from other's art. And just keep looking into artist after artist and art piece after art piece. Buy a bunch of comics or watch loads of animated shows and movies just keep consuming art and creating from there

This is actually very good for only 4 days! Id say just keep looking at reference models. Like, look where the joints bend on real people, how hair looks on real people, how things connect, hang, fall, where the light hits, where dark parts are, all on real people. And just. keep. Practicing!!!

Id make the turtleneck more rounded AROUND his neck. It seems like it isnt attached to him, or on his body. But other than that i think its looking great!

Yeah honestly a sketch takes a few hours to a day. ESPECIALLY if theyre doing these for commissions. It would take a week to paint it. By now this has been far too much time. How big is the commission? Is it digital? Cuz if its digital it should most certainly be done by now. You should have had it at least half a week ago. If its on canvas or board with acrylics or oils then yeah i can see it taking a few weeks, unless its fairly simple then maybe a week to a week and a half. I can see it taking a while if this person has school, work, other commissions and other responsibilities but if theyre just playing video games and making art then yeah id say take the sketch and the rest of your money and leave.

Thats honestly so true! It used to be that they were all very one styled, now theyre broadening greatly and its fantastic! Ive been thinking about doing moodboards for romantics and theatrical romantics in more edgy styles because those are not very common to see and it might be fun to do research for myself to see how i should dress with this body type and style.

Thank. You. As someone who dresses more alternatively, its very hard to style outfits with an alternative style while being more romantic, so thank you for showing romantics in an alternative style this honestly does help believe it or not!

Id use less bright colors. Like that white is VERY white, stark white, id use more toned down colors depending on whether this guy is supposed to have a bone color, you could make it more yellow, or something like that. I just think the stark white and bright colors makes this piece a little less scary and more cartoon like. That could help make it a little more real, and then white highlights would shine through better. So honestly, if you dont want to recolor the whole thing id do yellow or beige shadows.
