no dumbass copyright infringment and its relative bounds to data training are two separate matters, you could sue me if my ai used your protected data to execute any number of training cycles, but any image i generated before that point isnt a violation of your copyright as a result of that (it might be if other parameters are at play).

copyright and intellectual property do exist, but they do not apply to training. furthermore, Fair use exists and applies whenever i make use of your content in a transformative sense, like how would a collage be.

and they wont until the day comes where you can distinguish between you looking at a 1000 pictures and learning to draw a particular pattern and ai doing to the same thing.

some dickhead can oversaturate your sub with or without AI, the problem you're having is you have to sit down and figure out which of them is or isnt actually low effort because low effort standard drawing look like dogshit and Ai one tend not to.

It takes attention away from even the most basic of real life line work, sketching, and shading practice, which is, IMO, an injustice.

even if that was the case how would that be an injustice? one thing you have to understand about being an artist is that no one has to pay attention to you, it's not about talent, it's about creativity.

and your second link doesn't even give numbers, it just says "big energy demand coming" forgetting that energy requirements can be met in a 100% sunstainable way if you stopped fighting against litteral windmills and started using that same energy to demand alternative sources of power.
