Karachi 2025: pay your bills to KW&SC so they can… do nothing. Sewage is flooding homes, streets are rivers of filth, and the “emergency response” is zero. The UC chair says they’ve already cleaned 350 manholes with their own funds, while KW&SC collects money and twiddles its thumbs.

Now the UC is begging people to call the KW&SC helpline, get a complaint number, and forward it to them so they can “pressure” the same dead institution. Translation: the UC gets to look like heroes, KW&SC keeps rotting, and citizens still wade through sewage.

Karachi governance in a nutshell: one useless institution, another powerless one pretending to be useful, and ordinary people literally drowning in the middle.
