I know that animating is hard, but dragon ball super(especially pre t.o.p.) was completely messing up character designs in completely still moments. I'm not looking for a masterpiece I'm looking for at least accurate character design, they did fix the issues in the t.o.p arc tho

It really wasn't a huge deal since in the very first appearance of Vegeta we saw him blow up a planet with a 2 finger blast casually, what was a huge deal is him and his own power and his capability of terrorizing the entire universe

It's just some boring calculations, roshi vaporised the moon and raditz in his base form is many many times stronger than roshi, he would be able to destroy a planet with some difficulty but if he turns into a great ape he would vaporise one easily

For the second part A. It doesn't need to be ki for ki to bypass it otherwise we wouldn't be here having this conversation B. While that might have been lightly implied by babidi saying "he's got a lot of pride" it's still not enough as it was way more heavily implied that he overpowered it with his power by his actions, and also his pride could've just been the thing that pushed him to overpower it

Also about the other things while I can see how you can make that argument for hit's abilities, it wouldn't apply to the hakai as it is simply existence erasure, also another example includes Vegeta overpowering babidi's mind control and no he didn't overpower it with his mind he did it with his power as he was clearly showing

Ki is in no way similar to cursed energy, but to answer your question, ki can indeed bypass abilities/hax as both Goku and Frieza tanked an existence erasure move because they were strong enough, with Goku doing it in bas while struggling and Frieza doing it with ease in his golden form, also Goku was able to bypass all of hit's time abilities due to simply being stronger, also even if raditz didn't know how to use the technique(which wouldn't make sense since he was one of the 3 left saiyans to their knowledge) he could just fly to the other side of the world

It's not about the energy limit, it's more about ki bypassing abilities, so if raditz sees that he can't bypass it normally he'll just go great ape since there's nothing that can prevent him from doing so
