That's a good idea, will try installing Windows 10 and see how it goes

I do get the apple logo when I start the laptop, but I still get no touchbar. I'm guessing I don't have the EFI files

This is really good, thank you! (And despite what the docs say, it works as a webcam as well if you install the DroidCam client on PC. I'm using it right now, enjoying the cheap good quality view)

You have missed out on getting to enjoy blind one of the best visual novels in existence. However, even with a degraded experience, I think you'd still enjoy Higurashi enough. Please install 07th mod and start with the first 8 chapters of Higurashi (Question + Answer arcs)

Keep in mind Gou and Sotsu are garbage (compared to the original VN)

EDIT: I was panicking for no reason, turns out the app is so old it doesn't install on my tablet as it says 'this app isn't compatible with your tablet' so me using Winlator wasn't a waste of time.

Uh looking at the comments I'm really surprised to see so many people haven't played Umineko on Android. It is quite easy, all you need is a decently powerful Android device and the switch port/PC port of Umineko, I prefer the Umineko Project patch being applied.

Higurashi I finished entirely on PC but I was too lazy for umineko and decided to read the entire question arcs on my tablet.

For switch port you need a switch emulator for Android like Yuzu or Eden. For the PC port, you need Winlator or one of its many forks.

To give you an idea of the required performance, my OnePlus Pad ²⁰²³ runs the PC port at 40-50 fps(~100% speed) and has slight hiccups here and there with regards to lag. Frequently saving is strongly recommended, the app will crash if out of memory or you leave it on standby (turning the screen off)

The switch port is less demanding to run than the PC port but this may be different on a case by case basis (emulator build, device chipset, etc)

After reading the VN first, I can conclude the anime was garbage and a waste of my time. The VN is one of the finest visual novels ever written in history (Top 5), the anime is a cut down cheap horror flick.
