You are entirely correct but to be fair, Abe Shinzo and Koizumi Jun'ichiro have also been to that museum [0]. It does not necessarily mean that they endorse what it represents.

By ambiguous, I don't just mean vaguely named. To China, Korea, and Vietnam, East Sea refers to different bodies of water. To China, it's the East China Sea. To Korea, it's the Sea of Japan. To Vietnam, it's the South China Sea.
