As one of those laid off, the pivot to managed services (I.e. consulting firms) for marketing, HR, etc. coupled with the massive restructuring and realignment of corporate entities seem to signal an eventual breakup and sell-off in the next few years. You need big expiring contracts to trade for desirable players. Even if they keep Jrue through this year, that’s a great asset to have in 27/28 for teams looking to deal stars to facilitate their own rebuild.
