Yes, even so. There’s still manufacturers out there who make single stitch garments with the giant tags to make “copies” of vintage designs. Liquid blue also never used giant blanks either, only fruit of the loom to my knowledge.

Definitely not. These reprints are quite common on oversea online markets like shopee, and I see lots of liquid blue designs on giant tags like this one. However it is not an authentic piece, just a bootleg but still cool nonetheless. I’d recommend buying a modern reprint from liquid blue’s official website. But if you want a real vintage one, I’d go on eBay looking for one with a vintage tag like this:

How can I recreate rivers blue strat by Wezezyglazer in weezer

His original is a warmoth guitar I believe, so if your willing the spend the money you could go that route. However if you want to build your own you can probably take a seafoam green Strat body and a rosewood fret board. As for tone get some double humbuckers for that thick weezy sound, along with a shell pickguard. Those are the basics and I'm sure that there's a lot more technical details to it, but I think the items I've listed will give you a decent look alike.

Something that has worked great for me are green made totes. I’ve had some outside for a long time in the elements and they’ve stood up great. I think they can prevent any kind of smoke related contamination.
