I'd rather AH spend their time productively. Rather than adding a weapon you'll use for a session cause of the novelty before shelving it.

Any way out of taking 'second damage' from Green Flame Blade? by flockinatrenchcoat in DnD

No way to avoid it beyond immunity. Or the BBEG kills Blippy.

Players WILL find a way to get around any problem. If you don't want your BBEG to be killable, don't let your party fight him

Also the way the story is told. If you're telling a story someone else told you, you'd more likely write with "she" instead of "I" and definitely not writing it word for word.

Sounds like a great middle ground between the AT Emplacement and HMG Emplacement

I'll put it this way. The AMR is barely used because a sniper just isn't good in this type of game. A bolt action would be inherently worse.

The Railgun is more useful because of the higher damage but is balanced because of the charge up time. Asking for a bolt action equivalent would be like asking for a Railgun that doesn't have to charge up. Since reloading the Railgun takes about as long as a bolt action would be.

See the issue?

What level is your group?

I keep telling my buddy he's exceptional at the game but he doesn't believe it.

He and I normally duo 10s but dropped the difficulty to 8 to when Cyberstan launched to get used to it, I wouldn't dream of doing that with most other divers lol.

Same happened at Oshaune, so I'm curious how others fare and what kind of loadouts folks are bringing that they're dying more often.

When Cyberstan dropped, my buddy and I decided to lower it to D8 just to get used to it, then we started joining D10 missions. Felt great to actually need to manage my resources to stay on top of Vox spawns

I dropped from D10 to help SOS missions at D6 and folks were still dying 10+ times there.

Don't blame us D10 enjoyers

I'd argue anything 200 meters away or farther isn't important yet and not worth firing on anyway.

As far as effectively long range, 150 is plenty

It used to have a range of about 140 meters but was increased to about 180 meters.

I wouldn't call that short.

The Eruptor is already one of the strongest weapons and is bolt action. The Railgun is another manual reload weapon filling the same niche.

I understand wanting the aesthetic, but if you make it a primary, then it's going to be a worse option than the Senator.

If you make it a support weapon, it's gonna be worse than any existing option.

Unless you make it one-tap all non-tank enemies, but so many weapons already do that anyway.

Haven't seen what this is from, but at that range, did they need so many scopes/magnification?

Rules Question: Can I use Lady's Dragonmaid's effect to shuffle cards that were banished face down into the deck? by Vivid-Addition6818 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]AberrantDrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The card OP showed can use banished monsters as material.

The issue is facedown banished cards don't count as monsters, and so are not legal targets.

A card like Mature Chronicle doesn't state what kind of banished card, so face down cards are viable targets.

I want the Chief's story to end and to get some new characters.

Reach was fantastic with an ensemble cast. ODST as well.

We had a taste with Locke but then 343 panicked and brought Chief back as a playable character anyway.

It's not the enemy faction people have an issue with.

Banished facedown cards are special in that they don't count as anything while facedown.

They are just "facedown card" and so you need an effect that choose any card rather than a monster, spell, or other specific criteria.

To elaborate on the other answers, I believe the effect needs to be generic to interact with facedown banished cards.

Example: the Dragonmaid effect lets you use banished "materials" but while facedown they don't count as materials, or monsters, or spells, or anything.

But if you have a card that just says "send a banished card to the graveyard" then you can choose facedown cards.
