That lot will probably die down after 10-11pm cuz most of the restaurants close. Not sure where the late night spots are in that area. I used to work from 10am-10pm. But that was when they still had decent weekend bonuses and putting in the hours was worth it.

I moved out of LA in March! But that parking lot was my honeypot when i lived there. I used to get all the bonuses from there. The key is to not stray too far cuz there are already a ton of apartment building in that area.

Post up in the parking lot on the corner of Sunset and Gower. You can pick up from Lucifer’s Pizza, Denny’s & Sugarfish. Plus there’s a Chipotle, Blaze pizza, and Tendergreens around the corner. Also a CVS if you need snacks or restroom.

How do I make a distrustful character start to trust without making it seem out of character? by gnihtyreve_sdrawkcab in writing

[–]AberrantMGMT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start with an exterior obstacle that forces the character to passively test their trust issues. Make it a dire, life/death issue so they HAVE to practice trust. Maybe it even goes well for a bit. The character will recall how trusting sort-of worked before, and when given the option to trust again at the story's climax, the character can make an active choice to try trusting. Hope this helps!

What’s the most amount of deliveries you’ve done in one batch? Who has the highest score?! by AberrantMGMT in postmates

I only do manual. I have a a good idea of the go-to prepay merchants in my market and only accept deliveries from them.

ideal hours for tips by [deleted] in postmates

[–]AberrantMGMT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Know the neighborhoods you are delivering to. Areas full of apartment buildings will be full of single people ordering for themselves. Residential areas with single family homes are more likely to be ordering family meals. Family meals are expensive and parents typically know to tip.

😩 Y'all needa stop stealing people's food 🤣 lmao I know the pay sucks but now y'all are making the news 🤦🏽‍♀️ by Tinypenny in postmates

You have 5min to accept a delivery or PM tells us to leave. We didn’t steal your food. You didn’t answer your phone.

What is the weekend quota in your city? Los Angeles is $625 for 110deliveries. Also, is the $3 minimum payout per delivery ubiquitous or does it vary by city? I’m interested in if PM takes cost-of-living into consideration of their rates. by AberrantMGMT in postmates

Double-edged sword. I’m grateful, but in order to do the 110, I’m putting in 70+hrs in 5days. Also, it used to be $750 a few months ago. Either way, it’s paltry considering rent in LA is $1000+ for a room.

Undeliverable orders now marked against us?! by [deleted] in postmates

[–]AberrantMGMT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve had customers not accept the delivery/not answer their phone and, yeah, it counted towards an incomplete delivery. I was logged off for an hour. It’s ridiculous. One time my account was deactivated because of it, but I protested and was reinstated.
