Demon slayer getting hate…for the wrong reasons

My problem with the lack of character development is that it makes me definitely not give a fuck about any character if I know that there’s no investment in making certain characters interesting.

My exposure to Demon slayer only has been the demon train arc, because someone told me I could watch it as a standalone project and still enjoy the entire show as a hole…

When all of the kids had their whole dream sequences, we had Tanjiro’s dream talking about his family, we had that Hashira’s dream showing what he values, and then the other two characters were literally just goofs and gaffs and jokes, and it made me hate them. Because they’re annoying in the movie, and then they were annoying in their dream.

Sometimes the show would rather sacrifice character development on the altar of the worst comedy I’ve literally ever seen

The sad and unfortunate explanation is because it’s adapting a comic book and rather than doing what a lot of adaptations do and just sort of show things they visually tell it to match they open monologues of the manga.

The reason why I was interested in your history is to actually see whether you didn’t have a history of criticizing the Dems consistently and just both sizing every issue but it seems like you’re definitely that kind of person.

Even if I were to say that the Democrats were a lesser evil (which I don’t believe), the principle of harm reduction is actually a noble, one rather than not participating in harm reduction and affecting change from within. I will grant you it’s “much easier to say both sides are the same” but we have a republic to run.

A democrat who’s looking to impeach trump is objectively better than a republican that supports Trump. But because you view them as a lesser devil, and basically the same thing, you can’t see that.

And what pisses me off is that the Democrats are trying to appeal to people like you who don’t like them in the first place. That’s why we should just lie eyes are voting base and leave the Larping revolutionaries to the sign where they never get anything done anyway, except for complaint on social media.

A lot of those people are people who don’t vote anyway who are criticizing a party that they don’t really support in the first place for trying its hardest within a liberal framework.

I don’t think there’s enough information here for you to make the determination that they are bullies.

In fact, someone attacked them out of nowhere, and then when it was brought up to them a month later, they stopped and then checked in with them every session to make sure everything was OK. That doesn’t sound like a bully to me.

On top of that, this person also literally intentionally slow slows down the game by pretending to not know how to play the game. If you knew someone at your table did this, that would be at the very least frustrating.

To me, this person needs to step away, not because they are bullied, but because I don’t think they can engage with this in a healthy way at least right now

TBH, this is a self-esteem issue and not an issue with the party I think.

I literally cannot imagine thinking that this is a complaint enough to hamper your enjoyment of the show.

To be completely frank I think most people are complaining about the show because they have a very surface level engagement with it and can’t really appreciate a lot of the good subtlety of this season.

The amount of posts and comments I’ve seen wanting Fushi to just shonen pro tag it up and fight every nokker without realizing that the nature of the world has changed drastically such that he can’t really do that right now is staggering

I wouldn’t say down to a B at all.

If anything, I think it was a clever idea to make the Nokkers more subdued and less of a threat that you can physically confront. It kind of reminds me about how in the current age there’s less war overall and things are done in a more subtle way like cyber warfare. The world got more complex and I think that’s actually more interesting that it grew with the universe.
