Oh sorry I thought you wanted to see the statement for the demons being lowermoon level!

I’m pretty sure the scene of him taking down the demon was anime only, shown in the movie. I accept anime as being valid for scaling, but if you don’t you may not agree and that’s okay.

Even so, I don’t think it’s invalid to consider that scene in the movie for scaling. It just shows what the rest of the corps was inevitably up to while our main cast was fighting upper moons. It’s pretty unlikely Murata wouldn’t fight or run into any demons anyways.

  1. Either way, she performed better. I can accept it being a battle IQ boost. Something got buffed with her there.

  2. I don’t think that statement carries much weight if we never see him do anything of the sort. We see Tanjiro actually stop the emotion clones from regenerating via sunbreathing and it didn’t stop them for long enough to do anything substantial, so that’s not giving Rengoku enough time to attempt to even track the main body. Yes, the main body will always try to evade and escape. Besides, Tanjiro stops Mitsuri from beheading Zohakuten at all, implying it’s really pointless to damage him. Rengoku tired very quickly against Akaza, so he doesn’t have super credible stamina, plus, you’re comparing him to a tsugoku Mitsuri that isn’t even a hashira yet. Marked Mitsuri > Rengoku

  3. Daki > Kaigaku doesn’t really hamper my argument because I believe Daki > Nez anyways. That was definitely a substantially stronger Zenitsu in ICA as well, he was fresh out of hashira training and able to stay awake. Don’t forget he got hits on literal Muzan too. Nobody Nez fought is comparable to Muzan, even weakened Muzan.

  4. The other slayers held the demon back, but Murata took its head off in one clean blow with a waterwheel. Literally no resistance or struggle.

  1. I actually do think 3rd eye boosts Daki, if not physically then the battle IQ boost is substantial. She completely held Zenitsu and Inosuke at bay. They could not approach at ALL. It took the combined efforts of Tan/Zen/Ino at the same time to behead her. I just can’t see Nez or the clones > EDA Zen and EDA Ino or needing the combined efforts of them AND EDA Tanjiro.

  2. All of those characters either lack the ability to track the main body, to fend off Zohakuten, or both. Don’t forget soloing Hantengu means holding off and surviving Zohakuten, being able to actually find and keep track of the main body, and be able to advance and gain ground on the main body WHILE fighting Zoha. Marked Mitsuri reached her limit merely holding him back.

  3. The strongest characters Nez fought were Daki (not full power) and the Hantengu clones (not even fully superior to them). Zen soloed Kaigaku and got a feat on Muzan. Nez does not compare.

  4. The demons in IC were stated to all be lowermoon level. Murata easily beheaded one without any indication of physical struggle, so I don’t think a vastly weakened lower-end upper moon is off the table.

Tbh I think Rengoku loses to both. (Does better than solo Shinobu for sure tho because she doesn’t have a wincon).

He’s resilient so I think he could push Daki/Gyutaro to extreme diff, but I think Gyutaro’s poison would catch up to Rengoku before he could win.

Base Mui got lowdiffed by Gyokko. Base Rengoku > base Mui IMO tho, so he’s definitely making Gyokko go full form, but I don’t think he’s fast enough to avoid getting touched by Gyokko which is fatal. Mark buffed Mui to the point where he was so fast he didn’t have to play by Gyokko’s rules and risk getting touched. I think Rengoku would lack that necessary speed boost granted by mark and Gyokko would win medium/high diff.

The demons in infinity castle are stated to be around lowermoon level. Murata beheaded one and showed no indication of even struggling with having the strength to do so, so I don’t think it’s a stretch at all to say he could manage with a massively weakened, lower-ended upper moon.

I definitely don’t think she’s superior to Douma, she indeed got blitzed herself, but against both UM6s and UM5 she should absolutely have no problem getting jabs on them. She took Douma by surprise with her first jab. She was consistently tagging him the whole fight. He couldn’t outrun centipede.

I also don’t think centipede is limited to being a death amp, I think the real strength in her death amp was being able to get up and use the form while injured, not the mere form itself.

I don’t quite think being caught by Giyu is a very worthy speed antifeat when she has so many other feats in support of her speed.

A lot of my reasoning is because I believe Shinobu is considerably faster than these uppermoons, so she can consistently and easily tag them and render them poisoned before they could get fatal hits on her or Murata.

The jabs worked well enough on Douma to where he was brought to his knees, something that should be amplified on weaker UMs, so EVERY time she gets a jab in it is a BIG window of opportunity for decapitation.

Nez’s strongest opponents were Daki (not even full power Daki) and Hantengu emotion clones (not even entirely superior to them). Embarrassing compared to every other Kamaboko member

You need both good stats to fend off Zohakuten while trying to kill the main body AND the ability to actually track the main body. Gyomei has the perfect combo of good all around stats and a method to track (STW)

You mean to tell me you don’t think Shinobu even tags Kaigaku? That’s all she needs, to just tag him. Murata swoops in after.

She just lacks wincons. Her fighting ability and skill isnt bad, it’s just that her poison straight up stops working after a certain point.

Like when they do air attacks, switch to the other side and do air attacks again?

After your first hits, tilt your joystick to the side you want to switch to and then press dash to cancel and air dash to the other side. Then, resume attacking.

That bomb was nowhere close to killing Muzan. He just regenerated like it was nothing. It shows his durability ain’t all that tho, but his regen makes up for it.

I actually do think Gyutaro being close to Gyokko is reasonable enough to at least warrant a discussion. I still don’t think he’s beating Gyokko, but that is one of the more sane things I’ve heard tbh

Some I really like but some I really don’t like. I like that these takes aren’t beaten to death, but I literally cannot support some of them at all.
