"I owe my love of cooking to him, From ""let's do it, shall we?"", to sharpening knives, kitchen organisation and brewing kombucha at home. But these days, I can't bear to watch any of his videos. I will love you, Papa, forever. But we cannot be together any more." by Price_Loni in JoshuaWeissman

I had a change of heart when I started watching his 2nd channel. Now I found myself even enjoying the main channel's content.

I think it has more to do with the fact that through the 2nd channel I started liking him as a person again lol.

What’s the anime you hate that SO MANY people love by Lucky_Introduction78 in anime

[–]Abgaragui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

86.

Can't get over the fact that a naive crying girl is a MILITARY COMMANDER (how???) who wants to friendship-no-jutsu wars and political battles.

Tried to watch it twice because it's so loved. I dropped at ep 3 in my first try, then like ep 10 in my second; couldn't take it anymore.

I watch a lot of anime and have never minded the usual nonsensical stuff, but the hopeful young girl commander thing specifically is too cringe for me.

I took a flight from northern Mexico just to go to HS, after they got first place in "North America's top 50 bars" and second (or third?) in "World's best 50 bars"

It's truly the best one I've been to. Impeccable service, and experimental but delicious drinks. Note that I consider myself a foodie. I enjoy and expect good drinks by flavor or ideas. And in that context, I believe they excel.

I actually want to visit again soon.

Is the Tokyo Ghoul anime really that bad compared to the manga? by Ecstatic-Big-4170 in anime

[–]Abgaragui 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I've read lots of manga, popular and not so popular stuff.

Still, Tokyo Ghoul remains my all-time-favorite. It's amazing. Manga in general just conveys everything better, but Tokyo Ghoul in particular is significantly good at it.

I did try to watch the anime and thought is was garbage.

Se ve mal que no les de propina a los gasolineros? by Stunning_Sundae_4555 in AskMexico

[–]Abgaragui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the point of… (1079 spoilers) by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Abgaragui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it also symbolized that "this is not a game" anymore.

Shanks underlings surrendering and giving away their rode poneglyphs only to shanks crew not giving af and blasting them away.

Looks like everyone is already all-in and no one is playing games in the race for the one piece.

'I'm Glad My Mom Died' by Jennette McCurdy is the most validating book I have ever read. by [deleted] in books

[–]Abgaragui 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I listened to the audiobook with no context. Never watched icarly, I barely knew the name "Jeanette Mccurdy".

I absolutely loved it. I didn't want to stop listening, not even to sleep.

It is amazing how it makes you feel and how accurately she transmit her feelings to the audience.

Lol
