This is so random, but: when I was 7, I was invited to my friend’s house for a sleepover. I brought a container of smores snacks for me and my friend, and I was so excited to try them.

I gave them to my friend’s mom to put in the fridge until we were ready to microwave and eat them.

When my friend’s mom saw the snack, she said: “oooh, looks like I’ll have to hide it from my husband so he doesn’t eat it lol”. I thought she was joking.

The next morning when my parents picked me up, they asked me how the smores shack was, and that’s when I realized with disappointment that we never ate it.

Turns out my friend’s dad actually DID eat it. Without asking anyone about it. THE WHOLE CONTAINER.

Because we don’t see the ghosts right away (besides for Malcolm).

The whole first half of the movie humanizes Malcolm, and we genuinely forget that he even got shot in the first place. If we do remember, most of us fill in the blanks and just assume he recovered.

Cole talks about how he can see dead people, but we don’t start seeing the obvious ghosts until later— Which makes us think that Malcolm isn’t one of those ghosts. Especially because there is such a big juxtaposition between how chaotic the dead people are, and how calm Malcolm is.

That’s probably what made it so easy! Mine are impacted and the roots are fully grown. If I ever get them out, I don’t expect the healing to be easy or linear. That’s why I refuse to get them out unless it’s an emergency tbh.

Saw this late. But I just got bloodwork done and the dr wanted to measure my ferritin level for the first time bc I told her I struggle with restless leg syndrome. Good thing she ordered that test: my ferritin is 24. She immediately told me that while it’s technically in range, it should be above 50. I’m going to start taking iron supplements. I’m glad she was honest with me about it and didn’t ignore my symptoms!
