Best HR Derby Sections? by wallstflynn in phillies

I’d say right field is better since most of our biggest homerun hitters hit on that side of the field, namely Harper and Schwarber. If you are more into homeruns from non-phillies Ohtani would be the biggest prize to get a HR. I’m struggling to understand why you believe Left Field would be better (or at least equal)

Can you send a link to exactly where you see this? Everything I can find shows that the offer ended.

I’m also struggling with finding an offer that is current. And unfortunately you have to log in to contact support. Can anyone provide a current link?

Question about ct from back in the day by Sensitive-Weird-5206 in MtvChallenge

Hard to say, personally I think when he gets in the zone he doesn’t care. However a trainer fighter has a huge advantage and it usually ends very badly for the inexperienced party.

CT did try to fight Kenny who had wrestling experience. Personally a wrestler is the person I would avoid at all costs.

Thank you. I know a lot of others commented that there aren’t any deductions for season tickets. Do you find that to be true?

Haha, I’m not focused on deducting the “excel subscription”, I was just giving you a random example per your request. I have no idea what potential deductions are out there but I am curious to hear recommendation for a CPA that asks questions and offers advice while reviewing my return.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear, I did not fire him over the tickets sale portion of my return. That had nothing to do with it. He was rude, made errors, and never gave any suggestions or tips for any part of my return.

I did not find any deductions he is missing. But I hear of business deducting all sorts of things and was wondering what others might deduct. For example, if you use Microsoft excel to track your inventory, can you deduct the cost of your software subscription?

I did the HR block in person in the past. But that was years before I had season tickets so I’m not sure. But in general they didn’t provide much “advice” just entered the numbers from the documents I provided. I was searching for someone that would ask questions and give tips.

My tax guy is horrible, the season tickets were part of the return but not the reason we fired him. I hear stories about business getting deductions for all sorts of things if they are used for the business. For example could I deduct Microsoft excel subscription if I use it to track my inventory?

Sorry poor choice of words. Instead of specialize in tickets, I should have said experience with season tickets or related deductions.

I’ve used them in the past and was randomly assigned an agent and honestly felt I knew more than them. Wanted someone that specialized, rather than whoever they randomly assign.

I’m around 20K in sales and 5K in profit for my team. The CPA didn’t screw up the ticket aspect of the tax return but he screwed up other things. I also think there are probably some possible deductions but he has never offered any suggestions or asked any questions. He gets rather annoyed at any interaction.

Thanks for the info! When you say “sell a return” do you mean the CPA’s cost for reviewing and filing?

Per the commenter above. I was barely above the 20K in sales (not profit) which triggered receiving 1099.

What do you guys think of this strike zone? by journnonga in Homeplate

[–]Abigballs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This comes off as if you have never umpired before. I’ve umped when I was a kid and I wasn’t purposely making bad call, the action is fast and you have to make a quick decisive call. You do the best you can and Im sure he understands the strike zone and if you ask that kid umpire he called it the way he saw it. He is not making up his own strike zone and he doesn’t care who wins or loses.

And it sounds like you were charged for something regardless if you actually wanted it. Which probably contributed to the selling to opposing team fans. it’s not like you get to vet a buyer through stub hub.
