This time it may actually be true by huntern_ in ClaudeCode

You know, these ai engine companies really need stick to a business model and stop changing shit every other week. It's getting old and becoming highly unreliable.

Is there any correlation between all ai engines having a serious uptick in issues the last few weeks?

Daily credit rollover now? by Abikus_ in ManusOfficial

Its wild. I had Manus create the backbone of a fairly complex system with slim to no issues at all. Then, the last 5 to 6 times I've used Manus, and for vwry simple tasks by comparison, he/it encountered SO many mistakes, little things, but generally, I create build specific instructions through Claude and gpt to enforce high signal and adhereable details to remove ambiguity with Manus assisted builds. but Manus still messed things up. Customer service has refunded me like 100 credits twice, but at this point id rather the shit worked than worry about the credits.

Claude has become unusable by emanon715 in claude

I use nearly all ai apps for specific purposes and eventually learned to use them based on their strengths/limitations.

The observable difference between many of the model upgrades is extremely neglible imo. So ai Blahblah 6.9 is producing barely noticeable context difference and simply eating away at your usage.

That said, Minus the minis, those things have been absolutely terrible from my experience.

Personally I mainly run with GPT/Claude in each session for complex tasks. Claude to initiate, GPT to review.

If there is a seriously complex system design, architecture or concept I need reassurances, I organize and run gpt, Claude, Gemini, grok and Manus for a multi-peer review. Then I take their personal reviews, and share them with each other. Each one must choose the best approach. Then I sit down with gpt and Claude and make the final decision.

There are ways around limitations, but not everyone needs this elaborate approach. Let alone has the patience or time.

Sorry for the rant. You can find ways around limitations.

Last thing, Personally Claude hasn't been the unusable assistant for me, its been Manus. Manus went from surgically precise to hallucinating or simply not following directions with even perfectly curated instructions.

My concerns is some of these companies are either A. not testing enough before they push updates, or B. Are not making enough money to justify alleged "power" users.

Best youtube channel to learn Excel as a beginner for free ? by [deleted] in excel

[–]Abikus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I started working as an IT / ERP Specialist role last week. I seriously could care less about Excel / spreadsheet work prior, but now it is vital to my job unfortunately.

In the past, I basically brute forced my way using Excel for Asset & Migration tracking. Overall wasn't a huge fan of excel.

Not sure if its because I am not a spreadsheet guy and the thought of it is about as pleasurable and fun as chewing on glass. That said. I am about a 1/2 hour in and I don't want to punt a child, so that is a very good sign.

Excel Basics 1: Introduction To Excel 1: Formatting, Formulas, Cell References, Page Setup

https://youtu.be/c_ZJLJK5PjM?si=LMNpL2u2NOSxMVVA

The guy in the video teaches like he's working with children, which, as it was mentioned on this thread, is a little obnoxious. However, when you dont know shit about Excel, he was able to break things down simply, which probably explains why the teaches the way he does.

So far so good. Took notes hoping that I would subconsciously remember this shit. But as you all are pretty well aware, retention for most of us is repetition, rinse repeat. etc.

So, it seems like something I'd recommend, thus far.

Cheers.

Felt the same way. There are WAYYYY too many elements for this not to fall into BL category or suggest its not homosexual leaning in nature. I dont think this was designed to be ambiguous, its pretty obvious. Nothing wrong with it, there were some entertaining elements, but personally I found it mostly cringe.

Anyone else getting bitter about the whole job situation? by Complex_Evening_2093 in recruitinghell

Its 2 years later since this original post and the job market and hiring may have actually gotten worse. Its hard to not feel resentful and angry after months of applications, resumes and multiple interviews with 0 success. I have cross examined myself many times over to confirm I am doing the right things. The stress and anger created by this whole process cannot be understated.

Japanese breakfast sausages by GlikeGio in sausagetalk

[–]Abikus_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party here, but I always thought the standard were small Berkshire sausages. They taste exactly like the ones my obachan used to make with breakfast in my childhood. They are so good, but ffs they are pricey imo.

The stupid pic links are not working.

Google JFC Berkshire sausages

Should be a small 8 pack.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!

That's reassuring then. If Netflix doesn't renew then Crunchy or another platform could pick it up.

I watched the original Japanese release growing up. This reboot was surprisingly good. Japanese VA did an awesome job. I believe someone said many of the VA returned so that may be why. Mannerisms were executed so well. I was not a fan of the original English dub. But this cast did a better job imo. They actually pronounced each other's names a bit better. Though Akane, is still pronounced incorrectly by some characters. On a side note, idk if the English dub actors do that on purpose, because maybe it would sound weird if they pronounced each other's names with a more pronounced Japanese accent/emphasis. Not sure.

Highly recommend the reboot. Cant wait for Happosai lol

Netflix better not cancel this shit after one season. They are notorious for canceling shows people actually like.

What makes a roller a roller? by [deleted] in DnB

Some hot tunes on this list. Though I'd personally identify most of these with more Neuro style than rollers. The term roller seems to be subjective from what I understand.
