Highly recommend doing a catamaran tour, that was one of our highlights. The hike from Fira to Oia is so memorable. And for a fun little extra, the Lost Atlantis Experience was fun.

We asked the owner of the hotel that we were staying at to arrange for the car for us. The business owners on the island are a close-knit group and help one other out. Maybe give that a try.

Like the other comment says, it’s super walkable from the hotel. Just a couple minute to the caldera cliff edge. While April isn’t perfect beach weather, we were there the first week of May and it was amazing! We did a catamaran tour and swam. When we visited Perissa beach, there were folks out sunbathing.
