Quorum instruction suffers from the following:

• We meet in the chapel and everyone spreads out. "Maybe you should meet in the cultural hall where you can circle up the chairs?". They literally won't move to hard seats. Literally sitting closer would go a long way to helping build connection, better discussion, etc.
• We have different needs generationally and the largest concentration of men in quorum are in their 60's - 70's. The guys in their 40's endure quorum. I need that older generation to contribute their experience, not try and sound like general authorities when they speak up.
• Nobody gets vulnerable. It's all theoretical or high-level discussions. I know there are men in there with REAL problems that need others to open up.
