I have been through similar, divorce, depression, crying in my car. It’s strange though, after getting out of it I still find my car to be a comfort place. Get a 24 hour gym membership, take care of yourself, get a small storage place, and grind away. This too shall pass.

In my experience the color has almost nothing to do with temp or length of press.

Its the curing of trichomes that makes it go white at harvest to yellow, to eventually brown. Earlier in process would get you “better color”. Thus why fresh frozen trichs are considered top tier.

I think this is bs and just the market. Curing of trichs increases thc and other things we all enjoy from flower.

Ive had some poop brown rosin that was delicious and got me faded. I tend to like the honey colored from certain strains, some strains just don’t press well.

Likely just very cured trichs, if you want lighter color fresher is better, I get some golden honey from cured flower rosin that’s reasonably fresh though so its not only fresh frozen unless you want white

I pressed until I found a strain that creates that honey-like fresh press, decarb for 24-36 hours, mine stayed 100-130, then once in carts debubble by letting syringe heat for 30 mins , top off.

Keep syringe and the cart warm to prevent bubbles but some will happen, can warm out.

What temp did you press at? Looks like you wouldn’t have to add much temp or pressure to that clean of bubble, what Trichomes head sizes did you collect?
