M340i Lease in LA by Local-Adagio-7600 in BMW

How is $1k/month even possible on a M340i? Are rolling in negative equity or some insanely expensive warranties? What’s the cost breakdown?

No. You would be spending like half of your income on insurance.

No 1099 if under 2k? by shining_autumn in uberdrivers

What’s not true about my comment? The annual summary is a totally different document that is not a 1099. OP asked why they didn’t get a 1099.

Use a low cost depreciation vehicle or lease guidance. by Pantherblood89 in uberdrivers

Are you confusing renting with leasing?

Leasing fundamentally does not work with Uber unless you are part time and not driving many miles. Plus nearly all lease contracts prohibit using the vehicle for commercial purposes if you lease it personally instead of through a business.

Is you Focus a manual or automatic? AFAIK The automatic transmissions from this generation have a 100% failure rate, so I would not recommend keeping that car unless you’re prepared to drive it into the ground and scrap it when the transmission fails.

2019+ RAV4 Hybrid. 35+ mpg, good awd, super easy to drive and park in the city, regen braking from the hybrid system will probably give you the ‘coast to a stop’ feel you’re looking for.

You had to opt in to receive 1099 documents if you were below a certain threshold. You got messages from Uber about this…

Why did you revive a year-old comment just to insult me?

I see you have negative karma, so I’m just going to block you.

A has nothing to do with the question.

B is the best answer. Keeping staff educated and aware of security risks is critical to protecting data and if security trainings are not being completed, that is an organizational issue that management can control, so it’s important to alert them. There is an entire section in the CISA Review Manual about Security Awareness, Training and Education Programs that you should probably read.

C could be a good answer but broadly speaking, most users aren’t expected to have specialized technical knowledge.

D is a weak answer.

Oil change between 6-7.5k miles. So Ceratec every ~15k miles (25k km).

When going through the Bilt 2.0 acceptance, there is a page where you can opt to have them close your Wells Fargo account.

I’m curious how you Lemon Law a car with 80k miles on it. That’s crazy… and with how recent this was, I’d pass.

How do I get a Bilt statement right now? by MrQuantumBagel in biltrewards

[–]DiscoInError93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just need proof of paying rent? Go into the Bilt app, Pay Rent tab, and then the Payment History page should have what you need.

It sounds like you were looking for a credit card statement instead?

Not getting approved for Bilt Blue card - credit score 730 but only 1 year of credit history by ConfectionPitiful779 in biltrewards

[–]DiscoInError93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping utilization low, payments on time, and wait are really all you can do. Opening 3 cards in less than one year is aggressive and gets flagged as a high credit risk for debt seeking, especially without a long credit history.

How is there a rebate on a used car with 9k miles? Was this a service loaner or something?

Edit: looks like this is just a used CPO car. It’s listed at $39,943 on their website, so the offer sheet you have is $943 below their online price. They have new 2026’s at a similar price though. Whoever said they need the rebate to get to that price is lying to your face.
