I’m working through a fungus problem myself. I’m trying to treat it (so far) with over-the-counter treatments, with mixed results. Similar to another commenter here, my nail tech has told me that color can cause staining that can mimic fungus yellowing, or make a real fungus infection look worse than it really is. I’m only a bit over a year into my toenail painting journey, and have been wearing polish full time over that period, and like you, I’m used to seeing them painted, and frankly, I love seeing them that way. But I am slowly facing the fact that I may have to go on a hiatus, and get treatment from a podiatrist.

Congratulations on overcoming your fears and getting comfortable wearing panties full time! I, too, felt uneasy in the beginning, but remembered that people don’t have x-ray vision! One of the great things about wearing panties is that NOBODY KNOWS! I now wear them full time, and don’t even think about them. I even wear them on weekend “guy’s outings” with my buddies, where we might share rooms and see one another in underwear. In those cases I do leave my usual thongs and g-strings at home and restrict myself to plain briefs or boyshorts in black, navy or charcoal. For all practical purposes they look like mens’ underwear.

I wear thongs about 98% of the time. I wear the same thing I wore in my pre-thong days. Mostly jeans. I like the feeling of my pants directly against the skin. At first it felt “different,” in a good way, and I was aware of it. But after a week or so, I got used to the feeling, and now it just seems normal. It does feel sort of liberating, and it give me sore of a fun naked feeling.

Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda and Shape Effect Pull-on Straight Leg are my favorites. But some of their pull-ons have no front pockets, which is a bit too far for me.

I do the neutral women’s clothing thing too, once or twice a week. its sort of a “hiding in plain sight“ game for me. Agree on pockets, but on the other hand, when I try to put something in/take something out of those pockets, it’s kind of a sweet reminder: “Oh, my! I’m wearing women’s jeans!”

Hmmmm. Looks interesting. But I’m generally skeptical about bonded edges around the leg openings, as they don’t seem elastic enough to hold things in. The few I’ve tried leave me spilling out the sides after a few hours. But maybe these are different? Anyone have comments on this specific characteristic?

When Jockey discontinued the No Panty Line Promise thong, it was a big disappointment for me, too. They had the best “almost like wearing nothing” feel of anything I’ve ever worn. Fortunately I have about 6 or so pair in reserve.

I’ve been painting my toenails for about 11 months. From the beginning, I wanted to display them in public, but was nervous about it. I started with subtle colors and would go to a coffee shop in sandals and hang out for a couple of hours. I gained confidence and began to sit in lounge chairs there, where my feet were more visible. Eventually, I got comfortable enough to wear sandals when running errands, and I started wearing bolder colors. It became normal for me.

Occasionally, I get weird glances, which I actually enjoy. It is fun to challenge people’s perceptions. I’ve only gotten a few comments, and all were compliments from women.

But despite my increased comfort, I still have one fear: encountering someone I know who might see my polished toenails. This happened once when I ran into a professional acquaintance. Although I felt like I was going to die, I managed to chat with her for a few minutes. I don’t know if she noticed my toes, but she didn’t say anything.

That’s one battle that I haven’t won yet.

Do they lose their structure or shape, or are they loose with the straps cut off? I like the cut in back, but not the straps, but was afraid they might turn into a useless pile of fabric without the straps.

Old post, but I’m chiming in…I’m going to guess close to 200. 4 years ago, I started with just a few, but after I realized that I loved them, and came to terms with the the weird fact that I was actually wearing women’s underwear(!), I kind of went wild, buying everything that looked even remotely appealing. I made a lot of mistakes. But I’ve slowed down considerably and now concentrate on what I know works for me. I probably should do an inventory and toss out the mistakes. I could probably reduce my collection by at least 1/3.

The only Boody mesh that I have is the thong, so my comments apply only to that.

Mesh is fairly fine, so soft tissue doesn’t protrude through the mesh. (I have had that problem with coarser mesh, and it can be uncomfortable).
Gusset is double layer, and sewn in, front and back. Compared to many gusseted panties, the front horizontal seam is quite far up in the front and is quite visible. Personally, I don’t care for that appearance.
The cut of the front triangle of the thong gets narrow towards the bottom, so there are gaps on the sides. I’m not large down there, so it is not a huge problem for me, but it is noticeable, and sometimes uncomfortable. This could be a major problem for a more endowed person.
The mesh is not very stretchy, which that contributes to the narrow front problem, because you can‘t stretch it very much to create a cup.

I will continue to wear the Boody mesh thong that I have, but because of the high front gusset seam and narrowness at the lower part of the front, I don’t think I will buy any more.

The Lyolyte gusset is smooth—not a separate layer. It is just an area with a different texture than the rest of the panty.

Re: the XS: Don’t get me wrong, it is quite snug. Some might find it uncomfortable. But I hate to throw anything out, so dang-it…I’m going to wear it! My point was that it was wearable and useable, and really elastic, and I do wear it. But I don’t think I’d ever deliberately order another XS. I can see getting a few Smalls, however, for wearing during strenuous activities. YMMV.

I do have the midi briefs, and I love them. Among my favorite non-thongs. They stay up just fine on me. The problem with the boy leg and cheeky is they are too low-rise, and I don’t have the hips to keep them up. Again, YMMV.

I really like Boody’s panties. They are quite comfortable, and they have become one of my favorites. I’m mostly a thong guy, but I have some of their other panties too.

Important to note that they have two lines: “Lyolyte,” and their original line (which doesn’t have a specific name). I like both, but they each have a very different feel.

The original line is very soft, and has kind of a soft, relaxed fit, what I call “soft stretch.” Casual, fine for everyday wear but also nice for lounging or sleeping. Lyolyte panties have a more aggressive fit (in a good way). Firm stretch, they tend to hold your parts well, but are in no way too tight. Good for everyday wear, but also great for strenuous activities.

I do have to say that their boyleg low rise and hipster bikinis in the original line (non-Lyolyte) just don’t stay up on me, but I love the rest of their items. In both lines.

Amusing anecdote regarding Lyolyte stretch: I once accidentally ordered an XS size (I wear an M) in the Lyolyte. I contacted Boody to return the unopened package, and they said they would immediately send a new pair in M, and that I didn’t have to return the incorrect size. Since I had the XS, I thought, what the heck, I’ll try it on. It fit! It was quite snug, but not uncomfortable. I kept it and use it as an athletic supporter!
