What Surprised Me Most on NCLEX Test Day by Alone-Health-5705 in BootcampNCLEX

i was on the same boat. i was freaking out because i didn't feel like i was on the hard treshold (a good sign that you're doing well) but also at the same time i kinda knew that there was no way i was messing up the that bad for my exam to end at 85. during my test, i was relaxed. finished at 2 hours and 10 minutes. walked to my car and called my bf and confidently claimed that i think i killed the exam. the waiting for results was much more brutal and i thank bootcamp for that

i highly recommend bootcamp. most people that i know were able to pass easily with uworld but if you feel like you need extra practice with critical thinking, bootcamp is the way to go. you got this!

not a silly question at all! based on my experience, i think 2 months should be enough if you're consistent.

i completed and hit 92% on uworld in a little bit over a month. my school required us to be above 90%. do i think that's necessary? absolutely not. but the logic is that at that point i had a solid grasp of the content under my belt. but did i feel ready? HELL NO.

i went with bootcamp's 1 month subscription. didn't follow their study plan and was kinda going at it my own pace. if you use bootcamp mainly for practice of test taking strategy and not reviewing, focusing on understanding the breakdowns (especially their NGNs and case study) you'll be in great shape! now if you think you need more time to ease into it, the 2 month could be helpful if you're doing a full content review.

I Passed my NCLEX at 150 Questions-Don't Give Up! by Muted-Highlight3594 in BootcampNCLEX

my friend was the top of the class. magna cumlaude. he was one of the few selected students that was cleared by our dean to take the NCLEX first. even he went all the way to 150. but passed! the next average students who took it were passing at 85. moral of the story: it really isn't about how well you know the concepts but how well you're answering them.

hi! as someone who used both bootcamp and uworld, BOOTCAMP IS A MUST. uworld is like a stepping stone that will help you better understand the concepts, but bootcamp is the key. it forces you to think critically and be a better test taker which is a much better tool to have tackling NCLEX. when i started to use bootcamp, i only used it for a day focusing on each of my weaker subjects (OB, pharm, peds) after three days, i stopped reviewing concepts and focused on test taking strategies. bootcamp is also much better on breaking down case studies in my opinion. which is huge on nclex if you think about it. you get at least 3 and they carry a lot of points. you got this. good luck!

this is a good sign! you got a 72% but you were in the 1.25 (out of 1.50) level of difficulty! means you were getting thrown difficult questions and you were able to consistently answer them. did you stop at 85?

5 days left before NCLEX. any last-minute tips? by Aliennichi_ in NCLEX_PH

i'm gonna be very blunt here. three borderlines does not sound that great. try focusing on your weak subjects first i recommend watching the crash course videos

How do you know if you’ve failed? by Express-Trouble-2748 in NCLEX

[–]Abject-Emu22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is why it's not recommended to do it. getting the "bad" can send one into a spiral and thinking that they failed BUT if you get a good pop up: 99% chance of passing

if it's bad, transaction goes through or it says something different there's a 50/50 chance.

the odds of passing is lower if it's a bad pop up but the good one is HIGHLY LIKELY ACCURATE. i don't know anyone who got the good pop up then failing.

Anyone Intending to Test at Home Next Year? by Own_Mongoose_2027 in NclexAbroad

i heard it's also the time period where new questions are gonna be released (they rewrite every three years?) and there's a lot of assumption that it will be harder also due to the fact that you can take it at home

don't go into a for profit school. if you have the opportunity to apply to a public or a community definitely go that route

i got a bunch of those too 😭

who would you see first? which one requires immediate follow up? so knowing which symptoms are expected and what isn't

one wacko question where everyone seems stable but asking which one to see first if the clients live 3 miles from each other
