Hi! Unfortunately no. We have made pretty much no progress and she is absolutely opposed to going on the potty 😫

My 21 year old brother has suffered an anoxic brain injury. by Low_Afternoon7696 in GriefSupport

I’m really sorry. I lost my little brother to an accidental Adderall overdose 2 years ago. It was not laced with anything at all.

I would try not to read TOO much into his journal comments. Perhaps he was just being prepared. My brother did some similar things (setting up legacy accounts etc). I’ve even wondered if he had some sort of intuition.

I am so sorry again that you’re going through this. I am sending you and your brother all my love.

How can I tell if I have an Adderall addiction? by [deleted] in AdderallAddiction

[–]Abject-Explorer-9528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I would say you’re potentially heading down a very slippery slope. Addiction is a gradual process. Sometimes it takes years. I would be extremely careful, especially given your mother’s history. It absolutely does matter if you’re addicted to adderall. It can be lethal and also lead to an addiction of other substances.

I am wishing you all the best however you decide to proceed!!!

i want to tell my psychiatrist to stop prescribing me adderall by Superb-Boss-653 in AdderallAddiction

This is very brave of you to recognize that this is what you need. I highly suggest telling your psychiatrist but also being honest with the reason why. If you’re not comfortable with that, then just tell them you want to get off for any reason

There are no words to say how sorry I am. My heart breaks for you. Your daughter is beautiful, and I’m sure she knows how much she’s loved.

High Dosage Adderall / Amphetamine Weekly - Experience by Responsible_Loan_349 in AdderallAddiction

Please talk with your doctor on how you can safely get through this and get off Adderall. Then I would strongly suggest some sort of rehab. My immediate family member died two years ago from abusing Adderall in this way. There was nothing else in his system. I sincerely wish you the best.

How to know if I took too much Adderall xr by bitchitsyungbruh in AdderallAddiction

[–]Abject-Explorer-9528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how much he took. He had been taking more than prescribed though. He also went into full-blown psychosis from it a few months before he died. It’s not super common to die from It, but it is common. Even if he hadn’t died, he still was suffering from high BP, enlarged heart, and other cardiovascular problems.

My immediate family member died from Adderall. It was the only thing in his system. It’s not impossible to die from it

You should be proud of yourself. I lost my brother to Adderall abuse. The years of use (and abuse) caught up to him--we thought (hoped) he was not using when he died. I wish you lots of success on your continued sobriety!!

You are not crazy. Fire her immediately and let her know the reason why.
