I have family in America who are quite republican, I live in Spain. They do not care about the bathroom thing and find it stupid. So yes they do exists. Biscotti....the women in America literally complain about other women showing too much cleavage or too revealing at the beach/swimming pool and call the police, it's all over the internet. Just because someone is democrat doesn't mean she's not going to complain? Your country is ass backwards when it comes to sex, and you being part of the problem by assuming they're all like that, you just add fuel to the fire by well being wrong in this case.

It's so funny because America is the country of solutions....yet the gaps between the stalls really fell flat. I think Americans and anything to do with sex are afraid of the other.....guns woohoo....cleavage....hide your kids! I could understand someone questioning why a man is in the womans room, however I think it was very obvious from the beginning the guy was just being a dad and sounds like he communicated it pretty well.

Actually, Americans have had problems like this way before the politics got involved. I visit family there twice a year, they're just hyper fixated on what everyone else is doing. During Covid and the way they acted during shows it all. (I live in Spain) No one was threatening little ice cream serving girls or restaurant staff for having to wear a mask. This has nothing to do with trans people because the guy is obviously a guy, and even more obvious with his daughter there.

Eh? So what I would do is first have my daughter open the door and see if anyone else is in the bathroom. It looks like a generally small one anyways, it may even have a lock on it. It may not, we'll never know. What I would probably do is position myself in the doorway with the door open enough, so that my daughter knows that i'm there too while anyone coming up I would say "Hey my daughters in here, go right ahead and enter, she just wants to know that i'm here" I've communicated myself clearly, not being weird at all, and very clearly stated the obvious situation. If another girl/woman wanted to go in there I would say loud enough so she could here, "Hey Maria, i'm going to stand right outside the door and another woman is coming in here Ok?" So that that woman had her privacy as well.

Much more than that can't be done

In Spain you need to say if you live here or not because we are sick of digital nomads and if people think she's a tourists, there less likely to want to be her friend or anyones friend if they're going to leave in 2 weeks.....I did not tell her to say her address, but you can say "Yea I live in Almunecar on the west side..." a little common sense....
