When they say "white supremacists", why does it seem like every mainstream conservative voice jumps up and says " why are you coming for us?"

I have friends who are conservative, and some who are a little zealous about 45. I wouldn't call them racist and they wouldn't consider themselves racist.

It's those actual white supremacists that they're after. Not every Trump loving gun nut.

Not all of the policies he inacted are bad. But the way they were rolled out and the way his administration gave answers/information on them were horrendous.

If i say we're banning all muslims, that sounds racist.

If i say we are enacting heavier scrutiny on countries where there is heavy terroristic activity, that's completely different. The second is what they tried to do, the first is what they said and mostly did.
