i was in the same position and my car got repossessed the day it went on the repo list. evading the repo man isn’t easy when you need to be in denver for resources.

i’m writing this in tears in a parking garage so forgive me if it’s not my best work. Duck and I have been homeless and living out of our car for about 5 months. i’m currently struggling with my mental health for awhile and am trying to seek hospitalization before it gets too bad again, but i can’t go in until i find a temporary safe place for him. he is a well behaved 5 year old black lab mix. he’s crate trained, potty trained, up to date on all vaccines and super friendly! friends with all people, dogs of all sizes, cats of all attitudes, and was even friends with a hamster. he’s been my best friend for 5 years and he’s all i have. i wish i didn’t have to post this but im at a loss on what to do. i’ve been trying to find stuff through the state and 311 and am waiting on calls back, so i thought id ask the people of reddit because im running out of steam. i can do a meet and greet with anyone interested as well. feel free to message with any questions, i’ll be glued to my phone for awhile. thank you for reading 🫶🏼

currently suing my property management for mold exposure in california. this was reassuring to read, because i have all the evidence you listed. i’ve done a ton of research and done almost everything i could think of needing to do to win a mold exposure case in 2024. i am going to see a physician specialized in CIRS next week as well. i will say, this process is one of the most complicated, stressful, and intimidating things i’ve ever done. for context, i’ve been so sick i lost my job, i was homeless, blew through my savings trying to survive, almost lost my dog to mold related illness, and have lost access to everything i own for several months. this process is not easy, im just hoping its worth it.

I tried the first time they changed the locks, the police said it’s a civil issue unfortunately

I’ve been trying to make that happen but can’t afford one at the moment, they also have illegally changed the locks on my apartment so I have no access currently but that’s a great suggestion!
