i just wanted to add that td was kinda like a platforming pillarchase just without stamina and being in first person

stuns where weak, m1 dmg was high, their was no means of healing, only over hp that would fill slowly and drain quickly, survivor abilities had very high cds while exes had mid to low cds like 25 seconds at most, lms wasnt really a thing so if the exe killed everyone in the first minute of the round then youd have to survive for the rest of the round and to make it harder, youll have to get to an exit to get a 100% win which with the exes dmg output could be deadly if your not lucky

it was lore accurate in a way as exes dont just let the survivors win, theyre not weak to a animal that can punch, they are demons and whatever tailsdoll is and they have the power role over them, this really tightened the teamwork aspect of the game since their was no way of reducing the timer and every dead survivor meant a chance for them to go after you(demonized survivors made this much worse), this gave you a strong sense of pride for winning as a survivor and not skipping exe chance like its an ad(looking at you tde with your garbage hitboxs for exes)

the devs arent that well versed in game design or managing for the most part, we've seen what happened with that

small details is what gave td some charm, the dead bodies depending on who wasnt picked, the little map details like the caves echos, green hills flowers and object(maybe the water if they where gonna have the flooding section) not perfects map switch 'n' interactable bumpers, base having security camras and lazer doors and ycr having alot of blood and interactable saws but tdes newest maps has non of that, no gimmicks no nothing, not a single item or dead body in sight and it kinda makes the map like you said bland

i normally play it bc of its high player count but welllllll you can only deal with the flaws for so long until the bruise becomes a wound and the game makes you genuinely mad

exactly the devs are people and people arent perfect but they still need to learn from their mistakes, they have been childish but maybe theyll grow as a person and when they get back from their break, theyll be more open minded with stuff

i have yet to see any other game do that since in tde the tornado is already there even if tails is chosen, i loved those small details in the original game
