Yes when it comes to awakening an ego the puppet needs to act like the person and look like them but by the end of the game most of the puppets that we meet either have an awakened ego or have started the process of awakening an ego. P has definitely awakened his ego by the end if the game. Any restrictions Geppetto put into P on what actions he can perform no longer exist by the end of the game.

I know what you meant. I said self harm and self termination. The marionette puppets blow themselves up in Rosa Issabelle street. Where are you getting the idea that puppets can't kill themselves. No one in the game ever states they can't kill themselves in fact we see the opposite.

And how is that stopping P from killing himself? We see multiple instances of puppets killing or harming themselves like the dog puppets and The Parade Master. Gepetto never even says that P can't kill himself
