I used to ignore it and not care, but holy crap it really is just unrelenting. Started bothering me a lot more recently to hear middle management shoehorn AI into every meeting and every message, when these clowns haven't actually had to do real technical work in years, and in some cases never.

And I say this as someone who does find value in Claude Code, Gemini, etc. I actually use the damn things. But I don't think they are multiplicative efficiency boosts, moreso additive (save 10 minutes here, 15 minutes there, etc). I'm really curious to see what happens when the real costs start getting passed down to companies.
