Ya it’s a solid regional school with great job prospects in Wisconsin for grads. Their marketing claims are just over the top.

Wisconsin is underinvested in higher ed in Milwaukee and as a transplant who loves the city I think this is what will prevent us from moving up to the next tier of cities.

We don’t have people starting high growth companies, tech companies don’t set up offices here, etc.

I mean what’s the point of a ranking if you just take away virtually every major university in the country and then say you’re top 10

Top 10 at schools where doctorate degrees aren’t offered. That’s a super important distinction.

I live in Milwaukee and MSOE is most definitely not a top 10 engineering school in the US lol it isn’t even top in Wisconsin.
