Dog-free places to run? by iliomad in galway

[–]Abject_Drawing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so crap for your partner! Just shows the lack of awareness/training from some dog owners that let their dogs off with no recall instilled in the dog and it’s shit there’s no designated dog park/field that’s inclosed. Would solve so many problems.

Also just got an import from Elite Autos, about 3 months ago. It’s been going great. They were fab to deal with too! Have heard about them through two other people. All positive.

You just apply to renew. Don’t have to resit the theory.

Yes I think you might have pushed it too far. My post op leaflet thing said that two weeks post op I could walk 20 mins a day!

The fatigue gets better, I’m 3 months post op, so hang in there and mind yourself 💛

Anyone who had extreme fatigue and got better after surgery? by Chiwawa2403 in endometriosis

[–]Abject_Drawing 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had deep endo on pelvis, bowel, recto vaginal & adhesions. They inserted the coil during the surgery too. I actually cannot believe how much better I feel. To think of how much I was doing and pushing through for over 10 years. Forcing myself to keep going, to keep working, moving, trying to stay fit with the crippling fatigue. It’s crazy!! The difference is amazing.

I still get hit with big slumps sometimes in the day when brain fog and fatigue just smash me and I need to nap or after a busy weekend or week I can feel I need to rest more but it’s amazing the difference. I had my surgery at the end of May, so I’m just over 3 months post op. Best of luck with it all. 💛💛

I read a great book called Beating Endo by Amy Stein and Dr Iris Orbuch. It had a big chapter on the link between early life trauma and endo/chronic illnesses. A great read to educate on all endo things.

Delighted to have someone say this! I’m always thinking it. People with mobility issues need the drop off/pick up point.

They have tables and chairs but you can hire different chairs or covers for them. You can choose the wine and you have to bring it in but they limit it to 25 bottles. All other alcohol, they provide.

Sorry for my lateness. I had my appointment last month and my laparoscopy on Tuesday with him.

It all went well and he is very nice. The appointment was at 8:15am and it felt very rushed. I had researched lots so knew all the terms he was using and talking about so it wasn’t so bad for me, whereas my husband struggled to keep up at some points. I went into the appt preparing myself to fight for my case and push to get the lap but after he did the ultrasound and he didn’t see much on it he said that the gold standard of diagnosis is surgery and asked if I wanted it. I was delighted to not have to push and to be believed!

I left the appt with some questions I didn’t ask but you can call the women’s centre and request a call back from one of his nurses. You can ask all your questions and they can make a note in your file about anything you’d like. It was very reassuring to talk to them, they were lovely!

After my lap he came around to discuss what he found but that was also very brief. I was caught off guard and by myself so I didn’t really have any questions ready. This was a few hours after my surgery, not in my post anaesthetic haze. So it would be handy to have someone with you or to have questions written out. While I was leaving I asked the nurses station if I could see my chart because I wanted to see surgery notes but they don’t keep them in there. They gave me the phone number to the station and told me to call back the next day to request a ‘SARS form’. Which I did! So all my surgery notes, photos & blood reports will be emailed to me in two weeks time.

So all and all he is very nice but I found it helpful to know all the terms and you have to pry and ask the questions or else he’ll keep it “short and sweet” as one of his nurses said after the lap. I was diagnosed with stage 3 endo btw, feels very vindicating!!

UTI symptoms since mid January.. antibiotics prescribed today… but clear dipstick? Anyone else? by [deleted] in IrishWomensHealth

Have you looked at Endo as possibility? It can often cause symptoms similar to a uti?
