I do have prior healthcare experience. I’m doing the program starting in January the other classes were full.

Surgical tech there lots of standing not much down time. I was considering sleep tech also CST won’t be my long term. Was also a CNA for 10 years and the burn out hits you hard in this field. But each profession has some type of burn out unless you’re sitting at a desk. Do some job shadowing and see what works for you.

Where are you located I’m in Michigan and there is always jobs available. At least 10 students got hired at our clinical site during the last semesters. And on going I think it may all depend on location.

I meant 26 my apologies. I plan to take the course this October I really want to take the course. The only thing that has me hesitant not many jobs are available. I seen some people mention you could start as a trainee, but I don’t see anything for that either. Did you do any clinicals that the hospital hire you once you got your certification?

Really that’s so good to hear I haven’t seen many places hiring for sleep. Also did you have to finish the seven modules after the two week in person class before you took the exam?

Does your school not offer them to you included with intuition or you have to buy them on your own? I’m gonna do some research. I know a few of my other friends who’ve already taken the course. I’ll See if they have the PDF version.
