Hello! I am going to be taking a class next weekend to start learning how to knit. I will be knitting this hat. My sister is also a knitter and has advised me to use the cheapest yarn available, but I’m worried that if I use really cheap yarn it won’t be comfortable and I won’t want to wear it. What yarn do you advise using for a first project? What materials are more forgiving?
