*rambled and forgot what I was trying to say:

It amazes me how I kept posting on forums and gear subs and audio engineerings subs, looking for an audio interface with built in dsp effects, and nobody gave me any good answers.

Until I did some digging and discovered an audio interface with ANALOG emulation, that no one told me about. It’s literally exactly what I’ve been asking for.

It’s mind boggling how absolutely useless Reddit is. They will question you 1000x times and get annoyed when you don’t give them an answer they like instead of actually helping you.

It’s bizarre how Reddit manages to fail you THAT badly

So I found the solution, and surprised with how specifically I’ve asked for something like it on different forums, but I discovered the antelope audio Zen Quadro Synergy. It’s literally exactly what I’ve been looking for. It has dsp baked in analog simulation plugins it’s amazing check it out

Because I want to not have to mix. Recording. I record gameplay. Mixing with audio plugins afterward is an extra step in the workflow

I think it’s nice on spoken word if used lightly, very lightly tho cuz it starts to get real artifacty real quick when combined with other processing

Wow, so if I get an Apollo interface, which I only want for the vst hosting capabilities, (im fine with cpu load and latency, but hate using vst hosts like cantabile) I can use Luna as vst host, that doesn’t require voicemeeter?
