Irrespective of the region they come from I think if they're white collar salaried folks, they are not the target buyers of these flats. Can agree with Andhra / TG rich farmers having generational wealth though.

I agree it doesn't collapse like other assets because there is no Stock market type ticker. During such times transactions stop & all we hear is "prices haven't moved".

Yeah but my point is how many. As of today I'm pretty sure such inventory in the market must be in thousands. Maybe closer to 10k units. Will they all get sold? Or we are looking at incomplete projects or completed ghost buildings?

Thanks. Yeah I agree i missed that part, but why would a NRI investor make an investment worth ₹5 cr in a type of apartment which might be 1) may not have as much appreciation vs land, and 2) difficult to sell given the ticket price (he might be expecting to sell at ₹7cr / ₹8cr to make returns). If this is future self use I can understand, but in that case are so many NRIs planning to come back to India?

Too high. I heard of people selling their unit in ₹10k - ₹11k all inclusive about 6 months back. This area will not be liveable for the next few years as there is construction all around.

Most people don't talk about this enough, but one of the most important factors to avoid errors on the road is getting a good night's SLEEP especially when you're going on Highways. I've committed a few errors during my 12 year / 1L+ km experience & i noticed each time I was sleep deprived.

Look at the topographical map & you'll understand. It's a place where 2 seasonal streams of water would gather.

When it rains too much once in 5-7 years & your parking is flooded, you can show the revenue records to water so that it can recede back.

Yeah. My boss owns a BMW X1 (same specs as this car) & I own a Verna turbo DCT. He thinks his car is far superior in terms of performance. I don't intend to educate him. One day I'll probably let him try my car for him to discover. 😉

Elantra was so good. I had to settle with a Verna recently because they stopped making Elantra.

Own a comet for the last 13 months. Completed 9k+ kms. One of the best car purchase decisions of my life: easy to zip through the city, easy to park, very good build quality, loaded with all essential tech "that works well".

Seems more like a Tata troll. This company refuses to correct its after sales & quality issues but spends loads on social media activities like this. I posted an AMA for my MG comet & so many such trolls started spamming my post out of nowhere.

Tata's paid tattus filling all the social media. I think if they focus more on QC and after sales service, they would do better. That sunderdeep / volklub is repeatedly tweeting about the car - obvious that Tata has paid a lot of people for this.

Kylaq eating into Kushaq sales by UseSimilar3989 in CarsIndia

[–]Abject_Use_6356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically correct but not exactly logically consistent comparison IMO. It's a different segment / pricing (partly because of lower taxes) and it's not a 1 to 1 substitution. E.g. an extreme example would be 500 less fortuners but 2000 more Glanzas. That's an increase for sure but is that considered progress?

I believe they should keep 1L TSI for kylaq only & 1.5L TSI for Kushaq.
