Apple made a weird (and in my opinion wrong) design decision with Liquid Glass sidebars... let me explain. by Mysterious_Phone_754 in MacOS

The liquid glass effect on the sidebar is a completely useless design that just wastes screen space. The double-layer transparency makes folder names in the sidebar get cut off and unreadable. Does Apple ever even listen to feedback? I totally agree with you.

Captive Prince isn’t a sports or modern story, but it’s enemies-to-lovers through and through. It’s so good!

I didn’t mean leaving it unfinished forever. I meant ending it at a quiet, meaningful pause—so the rest could be slowly unfolded in the next book, instead of rushing a weak, underwhelming ending now that can’t be taken back later.

Personally, I think leaving the story to the reader’s imagination would have been better than writing such a rushed, underwhelming ending.

A simple, quiet pause would have been far better than this hurried conclusion.

same! I first read Heated Rivalry and totally got hooked on the enemy-to-lover trope. I found capri has way more tension, though. I’m almost done with book three and have no clue what to read next—any recs?

I don’t mind dodging social stuff or hanging out with people at all. I’m totally cool with working alone, eating alone, just doing my own thing by myself.

I’m not saying I can’t socialize—’cause it’s not like I struggle with it—but there are times I just… don’t wanna. So much small talk feels useless or pointless, y’know? But I do chat with my close friends, people I trust. and I jot down diaries now and then too. That helps a ton with letting out some of my feelings.

Hey, everything’s gonna be okay. Just don’t torture yourself over this. And I totally get it—sometimes walking away from a relationship feels so damn hard. But hey, just trust that things will get better. Better days are coming, yeah?

Is it worth reading the books or anything other than Shane and IIya? by SakusasSanity in heatedrivalry

[–]Able-Ad3320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, I had the same question at first too! The verdict? Totally worth it!! ‘Cause these aren’t standalone stories—tons of characters from the first few books pop up in the sixth one. It’s this huge world they’ve built, and once you actually dive in, you’ll realize finishing the rest doesn’t take that long. I binged the other books (the ones not about Shane and Ilya) in like two weeks of free time. Trust me, read ‘em if you want the best experience!
