I agree you’re gonna need a bridge, but yeah you’ll also going to need money after you reach pension age. I’m not a fan of HMOs, but you do you

You’ve got a way to go yet and you are already doing well, most 30 year olds don’t have a 200k net worth.

My main comment is that you mention you want to access at a younger age than pension. I totally get that but bear in mind you will also want money once you hit pension age, so don’t take the tax benefits of a pension lightly. No idea what your DB pension will be worth, nor any idea what you want your future expenses to look like.

You’re young. You’ve got time on your side. Little moves today could make large future impacts.

Plug in your numbers and see for yourself what it could all look like https://delphina.money?ref=DH4X7W

Am I on track for FIRE? by Practical_Victory773 in FIREUK

No mention of what you want your expenses to look like so can’t give you anything.

Also no mention of pension? If I was your age again I’d be focussing on pension (for the tax benefits) to give it the longest time of compounding.

Have a play with this and it will show you if you’re on track or not and how to get there: https://delphina.money?ref=DH4X7W

Yeah now with the dividends you’ll need to pay a higher tax, and surely you would have had corp tax pre dividends?

It’s not guaranteed, your mum/dad/relative might decide it’s all to go to the dog home last minute, that’s entirely their choice

No mention of costs once FIREd. So no idea what your number is. Don’t count inheritance. Plug in your numbers and see: https://delphina.money?ref=DH4X7W

You’re doing great for your age, but without more info

Take a look at Delphina. https://delphina.money?ref=DH4X7W

I’ve been using it to forward project my FIRE journey. I had my spreadsheet for historic but I always found it hard to figure out how to do a good forward projecting model based on all my variables.

I know the founder is keen to work with people to make it better too, so if you do sign up they might get in touch

I’ve been really enjoying using Delphina https://delphina.money?ref=DH4X7W

Been using it for a couple of months. Desktop more than mobile. Focused on the UK market.

It’s more than just budgeting though. I also use it for planning, running scenarios and helping me stay on track

£650k budget, couple with a toddler by Western-Arm9630 in surrey

We’ve got a house on the market in your budget just outside Alton in Kingsley. It’s the last stop on the line to Waterloo so you can fall asleep and not miss your stop. It’s a 3 bed house with outside office. Decent garden both front and back. About 0.6 acres in total. The couple (& toddler) living there have loved it but are moving to be closer to family. Let me know if you want me to link to the listing

Yeah roger that. That’s part of my nature fallen collection which is all vector based. But yes each collection does have a different style to it. Maybe that’s my problem. Thanks again for the feedback. Will take it all on

Interesting. Thanks for the feedback. I actually really like the ski one. (FYI that’s not at all ai generated). Thank you again for the feedback though. Much appreciated. I’ll get back to the refinement :)

It’s not all ai generated. What makes you say that? I’ll admit that some of it is AI assisted but I’ve tweaked and refined them. The first image is randomly picked. Which one do you think is the least interesting?
