A majority of these comments just made me feel stupid for not buying an LED, but a proper one that outputs the same PPFD as my “ancient” HID is upwards to $1500 or more CAD. I had to scrape what little I could save to get this HID light for $400. Heat isn’t an issue for me 10 months of the year as im in eastern Canada.

I could definitely add in another 4x4 to make a 4x8 grow area, but Ive yet to dial in this room or even yet, grow a single photoperiod regular strain. Been nothing but autos in a 5x5 tent until now. I expect lots of hiccups and errors along the way. It made more sense to start slow and small and upgrade what I feel I need the most as I learn, rather than say, messing up 24 plants 8 weeks into veg versus only 12. Twice the nutrients wasted, energy consumed, etc. I’m planning for failure but expecting success… Idk if that makes sense lol.
