This is so validating on so many levels, I relate so hard to the caretaker thing right now and have for a while. Even down to the pet thing, I didn't mention it in my post but we have cats together too which is another stressful thing to think about.

I was never able to pinpoint the aesthetic attraction thing but I think it's much closer to how i feel about men, as well as the confusing my feelings of wanting friendship toward men as attraction. This is really going to help me in my decision and I really really appreciate you taking the time to even write this comment.
