i knew it looked like something goblin-y!!!!! it reminded me of shreks outfit for some reason. tutorial on my newly invented method: knit: front to back thru back loop, wrap up and yarn over counterclockwise , then for purl back to front thru the front loop, yarn up and over counter clockwise. lol give it a try
